Great point.
19 could be shortened to 18 but I mean 1 week… I don’t feel as well on high level test with long eaters than I do with slightly super physiological does of test p.
I chose 18 because 6 weeks on oral, 6 weeks off oral, 6 weeks back on. Contest. Pct.
I haven’t been on cycle in over 2 years. I’m 33 years old. I’ll get blood work 1 week prior. Right now, we’re not close enough.
I meant that most test cycles are 12 weeks; agree that going from 19 to 18 weeks is pointless.
Wouldn’t you want baseline bloodwork done so you know if/when you’ve recovered? Just speaking in terms of health.
Mind sharing before/after pictures? anonymous of course
Bloodwork, again, I’ll get as we are closer. We’re still over a month away.
In my experience and findings, I find that eq works better if ran a little longer than test. It doesn’t generally kick in until week 6-8, no point stopping at 12-14.
Pics yeah- once we get closer to start time, I’d be happy to share before, after and mid pics.
Mens physique.
2nd show- mentioned that one earlier.
3rd cycle, 1st and second I took about a year off between, 2nd to third has been greater than 2 maybe 3 yrs.
I’m not a huge gear bro, just figured if I’m going to do the show- may as well “do the show”. Friend kinda drug me into it now I’m motivated.
Keep in mind, these were strengths prior to surgery. I just got cleared to workout again this week and have really been going easy. Been outta the gym for 30 days.
6’4”, 225lbs.
Bench- 315 x 3
Squat- 315 x 4
Deadlift- 495 x 4
Leg press - 810 x 8
Curl- 155 x 6
Military press- 225 x 4
Pull ups- can knock out 20 at body weight. Haven’t tried anything above weighted with 135 for 2.
That amount of EQ might kill your e2 tho. People who are not that sensitive usually take 1:1 or 1:2 at most.
My e2 gets killed if i take like 400 test and 125 eq. But ok, im super sensitive to e2 but your dose of eq is super high for that test for any standards imo.
You will make some remarkable progress coming back from surgery provided you are not restricted physically without AAS’s. It seems to me that you have chosen a contest a little too close to being able to be totally able to be at your best. But 30 days isn’t that long being away from the weights. How much weight did you lose?
I asked you a question that you did not answer. Were your gains linear during your previous cycles? That is, did you make consistent progress throughout the 16 weeks? It has been my experience that I could only make good progress for about 8 weeks, and then progress became slower. It was thought at that time (1970’s thru 1990’s) that the binding sites became less capable to absorb the AAS’s. The solution was thought to either end the cycle or up the dosage.
IMO, you should start your cycle 12 weeks out of the contest. Get back to your weight room numbers naturally. Especially if you lost any body weight the last 30 days.
At what bodyweight do you believe is stage ready for you? In other words, how much weight do you need to lose to look ripped? What do you weigh now? What did you weigh before surgery?
And I have more questions, but I would like to know what you think about my suggestions.
I have to wonder why you’ve chosen to cycle given your PR numbers… no disrespect intended, those weights are just fully achievable while natty.
I also agree with @RT_Nomad saying you should get back to those numbers at a natural pace; there is much higher probability of you injuring yourself by jumping straight into gear off an injury + time off.
No expert with a contest prep, but doesn’t this seem like an e2 killer cycle? And therefore all the issues with low e2: lack of energy, no sex drive, etc. Could you drop the AI until just the last few weeks before contest?
I appreciate all the feedback.
Linear gains-
1st cycle had a pretty significant jump in strength & size. However, I was 25 and had no clue. Probably shouldn’t of done it. But that’s life.
2nd- much more definition and cutting cycle I felt like. I had a break, took some time to read and learn on compounds, before this one. Felt very good. Strength & size maintained under a
Strict caloric deficits. Ended this at 6’4”, 216lbs with 5% body fat (read by bod pod).
Since then I’ve worked on building strength and size naturally while graduating college, launching my own business, and a divorce. Now that I do the math, that cycle was 6yrs ago… WOW!
I’d say realistically I’m currently at 13-15% body fat. Maybe less but not higher.
I’d say right now I’m My goal for this run is to drop back to those low digits BF, gain maybe 10-15lbs or muscle.
I was honestly thinking of dropping the adex. Especially after having gyno removed (can’t come back) because that’s the only estrogen side I’ve never ever had.
I really don’t think dropping the EQ is as important because I’m running low test and my body seemed to respond very well to it last time.
Thoughts? I’d consider dropping the adex 109% and use if needed.
