Has anyone tried to get the ‘overmatched’ achievements for fun? 1v4 Very Hard AI seems pretty ridiculous. I gave it a shot just to see and even trying to ‘abuse’ the AI’s mechanical play(attack with first 4-5 units) by massing static D on one of those 4v4 ‘your whole team starts in a fortress’ maps, I got steamrolled. I was hoping the static would hold them off while I expo up to what would normally be my teammates locations, and just win in a macro war as zerg(so I could just insta rebuild a new 200/200 army after fighting their gigantic 4 team mass).
This post is more of a bump than me actually giving a fuck btw =p
Just transitioned out of practice league, those rocks got pretty annoying. Everyone I played kept going air, made it pretty easy to counter.
Any big Terran players here? I haven’t branched out playing zerg (the coolest race imo) yet, just gonna truck away steady with Terran first. Anyone have a steady good opening they use? I’ve been having good success with two barracks, one reactor and tech, or both reactors > then backing up with good mech…then let the scouting reports influence the rest.
I really want to get this game but that would require me to build a gaming PC, and I don’t have the money for that right now. I guess I could play at a gaming cafe around here.

I really want to get good at Zerg. I used to love Protoss then Terran in SC1.
I haven’t read through this thread, but if anyone who bought the game has a spare trial key lying around I’d love to give this game a shot before I go ahead and drop $60 on it.

Me and tyrant played with you once, and you sucked. I don’t see how you can win a FFA vs 7 insane AI, unless you barricaded yourself for an hr while the other AIs finished each other off then you come in and kill the left overs. Am I right? lol

I have played with a few of you guys, and you guys are solid players, you too fandango. We gotta get our platinum placed tnation players and try to get placed in 4v4.

I went back to school on Sunday and I really can’t play much here because my laptop can’t handle the game. I will still be playing a lot on the weekends when I can play on my home computer.
