I seriously hope they fix battle net 2.0. I remember hearing a quote something like “Battle net 2.0 is the only place on the internet you can be with so many people and feel so alone.”
WOW. I’ve been so caught up with work and everything that I only played the reopening of the beta for one day. FML. I didn’t even know it was closed until my friend messaged me about it.
I don’t have time to go to gamestop to pick up my copy so I’ll have to wait until they mail it to my house (hopefully in time for the weekend).
Pre=ordered it and it should be coming in the mail in a few days. I played the beta and it was pretty freaking sweet, but I’m not going to lose any sleep over not having it the VERY first day it is released.
In exactly 12 hours, it’s bought.
I guess I’ll go buy this tonight, although I don’t know where to get it. Will gamestop be open? I know a walmart supercenter has been advertising it and they’re open 24 hrs a day so i think they’ll be selling it at midnight.

I don’t expect them to. Just like Activision fucked MW2, Activision by way of the fairly new Activision/Blizzard is going to fuck SC2 and probably D3. Inevitable “premium” DLC FTMFL.

Perfecting Battle.net was one of the main reasons it took them so long to release, so I expect it to be pretty damn good.

I have a feeling Bnet will be more or less the same as we saw in the latest beta, with additional features like channels and improved party functions in a later update.

Yea the LAN thing pisses me off also, but the reasoning behind it is to prevent hacking and hack development, as Blizzard will pretty much be able to track all multi-player action.

w00t installing now. Was hilarious, I walked in at 11:58 eating an arbys sandwhich and drinking a coke, didnt have my receipt or anything, and walked out with the first game because of it. Damn nerds tried to fight me on the way out, but I picked up a small one and hurled her into the rest.

I’ve decided that I’m not going to pick up a copy 'til the end of the week, I am destroying my quota work wise for this month and want to finish strong, SC2 would not be conducive to success.

rofl I feel the same way, I have 2 exams wednesday one of which is a final, luckily I have all day at work to study for them.
