Stalling on Bench at Cutting Phase

I was cutting with -500 deficit for 3 months, but my training numbers was good, there was no stalling. But in this cycle, i stalled at 97,5 kg with 3 reps. I can only do 1 rep. My TM is 100 kg, i did it at my last cycle.

At the same time, i will go for bulk next cycle. I know, i must reset my bench max, but i feel i can do more when i am eating surplus.

What do u advice? Reset my maxes (100 kg TM and go with %90) or just back 3 cycles and go with 110 TM ? I think i cant really do 110 kg for 1 rep but i can do it with bulk in next 6 cycles.

I am using BBB as assistance.

Sorry for my English, if i have mistakes.

It seems you are increasing your Bench Press by 10kg per cycle instead of 2.5kg.

Please write down your TMs for your last 3 bench press cycles so we can confirm.

97,5-100-100-102,5(last phase i am on.)

And i am adding 2,5 kg for bench and ohp, 5 kg for dl and sq. I didnt stalled any other lifts. Only stalled in bench this cycle (3x3 week). So i must decide, am i re calculate my lifts with 100 kg 1rm or turn 3 cycle back ?

Cool, go back 3 instead of recalculating. Make sure you’re eating and doing your jumps & conditioning work.

“Stalling on Bench at Cutting Phase” also “Water is wet” and “Bloody dukes attract nasty vampires”.

I know it’s normal.

But my question was different. I just confused about re-calculate or turn back some cycles. I will change my diet to bulk this week.
