Alright. Well BOI is kind of on some bullshit drama, and always felt like I was just “walking into a clique” anyway, so I may just post here from now on. The food log thread turned out to be pretty dumb, too.

I have decided to embark on a diet. I know I only did 4 months of “bulking,” but I was too sloppy from the get-go. I feel that if I would’ve approached the diet and caloric intake I am now, I would’ve been fine, but I was eating a LOT for a while, and gained about 20 lbs in a month, month and a half.

I really want to just settle my body fat down and go on a slow, sustained bulk. After my workout today I’ll hopefully be throwing some pictures up from my bulk to demonstrate how quickly things can ugly for guys like me.

Okay, I swear I’m going to keep this log updated instead of BOI or the food thread. All posts related will go here. Pictures will be up hopefully this early afternoon for tracking purposes for my re-comp. Warning, there will be a lot of them. I like to take pictures to closely monitor my body. Sue me.

Thanks! And to respond to your T-Cell inquiry (I didn’t want to hijack that… “interesting” thread.) I’m doing legs later in the day, and sometimes my other days. It kind of depends on what’s going on, though, like if I have work later in the day. I actually kind of mis-typed my diet, I had a protein shake first, and then some beef about an hour and a half later (an hour before my workout.) Does that make sense? Haha…

And yes, I know the cals are shrinking. I finally found my camera uploading gear so right after this post goes through I’m going to hop on my other laptop and upload some pictures on to here and more on my profile.

Hmmm…man I really don’t want to contribute to your indecisiveness when it comes to gaining or losing, but you aren’t looking as bad as you made yourself out to be in PMs and it is evident you are becoming more muscular, so good work.

The most important thing is how uncomfortable you are at this level of fatness and if its bugging you, then obviously recomp/do some damage control. But taking your past into account, I don’t think you’re doing bad at all.

I think your diet can be fairly short actually, 1-2 months and then you should be able to resume a steady gain again.

I sure hope I only have to diet for that long, I’m having a tough time getting the “Need to fuel my body for workouts” mindset expelled for a little while.

I’m going to hopefully have more pictures up later, as well, after my workout. I noticed I kind of only put pictures up with the same poses. I don’t have any “official pose” pictures, but I’ll throw something else on here definitely.

I would definitely second this. Even though you may be “fatter” now than when you were at your skinniest, the deflated look the loose skin has actually looks better IMHO as it has gotten filled up. You definitely look a lot better than my mental picture of you was (the before pics).

Hey, thanks Bug. It’s nice to hear that I’m probably being a little critical of myself. Either way, this next bulk will be much smarter.

Nothing too drastic yet for the diet, but I’m operating around 3,200-3,400 calories or so currently, and always working down. I’m also on kind of a two-week long cruising-type phase. My joints and tendons started getting achy, and considering I’ll be on a caloric deficit soon, there’s no reason to push my body too much. I plan on doing some wankery exercising (today in my basement I may do some curls, light front squats (Tabata perhaps,) something simple like that.)

I think I’ve lost at least half-an-inch off my waist already, without really doing any cardio, too. I’m going to be careful of cardio this time around… with a good enough diet, I think I can get by with a reduced amount compared to diets in the past.

I’ll try to add the rest of the fat pictures later, but I may have to go to the Secretary of State’s office to pick up my “big boy” license… :slight_smile:

I have no idea how I feel about today’s workout. I made a bit of progress on a few things, and took a few steps back on others. I felt super fresh from the de-load/week off, but I guess the lessened calories is starting to go into effect.

I’m going very low-carb with re-feeds.

SSC, I wanted to PM you this, but for some reason that isn’t an option.

You were way too critical of yourself in the BOI, they way you spoke about yourself I was sure that you had just gotten sloppy fat.

I actually think you did nothing but better your appearance with that bulk, but like it was said up there, this is all about what makes you comfortable, we do this stuff only for ourselves after all.
