Squat Suit ???'s

Guys,

The meet I am competing in is APF I am currently looking for a squat suit. I am leaning towards the Metal V-Type or the INZER champion suit. Obviously the INZER is much cheaper but if anyone has tried both please let me know the pro’s and cons.

Stay Strong

If you are going in the APF you need to realize that you will be facing people in double ply gear and alot of canvas. I dont know how strong you are, but if you are starting out, the hardcore or titan dual quad is a good place to start, then once you get stronger move on to the double canvas or metal suit

I don’t really care what everyone else will be wearing. This is my first meet and I’m looking to reach the goals that I will set for myself.

My first suit was an Inzer Z-suit which is the same as the champion only it is tighter around the legs. I can honestly say that it didn’t give me more than 10 pounds on my squat.

If money is not a factor I would for sure go with the Metal or Titan.

How much do you squat?

i have used both and there is no comparison between the two. The metal is much better.

If i was you I would go with the metal pro squater one size big with no breifs…this way you wont have trouble reaching depth and you will have a double ply suit that you can grow into over your next few years…bm

Guys thanks for the advice I think, I’ll go with the metal v-type when I make my purchase in a few weeks.

bigmartin’s idea is very good.

Is this the 10/30-31 meet in Lewiston, ME?

Remember to get the “Viking” style suit. I have a Metal Squatter IPF and it’s stretched quite a bit since I bought it this november. The viking is supposed to be made of tougher fabric, but I haven’t tried it though.

cressey yes it is
