will follow your log since I also train under the Bulgarian method. I’m on my fourth week of training and today’s workout was a struggle. Will probably ask some question Eventually about the method when things come to mind. Did the misstake the first 2 and a half week ny doing the low bar squat instead of the high bar. So the high bar squat havent progress since i just started doing it. But my Bench and Front Squat are going up kind of steady.
On days i deadlift i do the Madcow deadlift. So its 4 sets of 5 reps and its more of a linear progression on that. I do that 2 times a week. doing the deadlift after i have done Squat to daily max + back off sets (always a minimum of 3 sets of 2 reps @ 90% of daily max)
I never do a deadlift day when i work up to a daily max + back off sets. But thinking of taking 1 day a week to do that and do some Squats 5x5-intermediate-madcow stile after. What do you think of that? Or is it better to stick to the program and start the session with Squats to daily max + back off sets and then the same with deadlift and then call it a day?

One more thing, do you plan on doing deloads?
Wish you a great progression![/quote]
I am assuming like the rest of us, that you are adapting this to a PL form and are a PL competitor or plan to be.
Therefore, lifting days should either look like Squat to max then Bench to max, or Bench to max and then DL to max.
Eventually you get to the point where you do all three lifts in the same day.
I posted about deloads in the Bulgarian thread.
Do w.e. works for your body, but I feel you are taking away from your potential on the program by doing 5x5 through out the week as well. Remember that this is by no means a beginners program. It is recommended that you run Sheiko or some sort of volume program to get technique and so on together. However, once you are there, commit to it.
When I run Sheiko templates I do not run West side on the side. I am guilty of using a 5/3/1 temp for my military though. Food for thought
I take deloads when I feel like I need it. For example, in two weeks I have a business trip so I’ll be out of town for a week. I will have no access to a gym except for a “fitness” center so I think that’ll be my forced deload lol
I’m curious as to what made you choose 531 for your military press as opposed to higher frequency C4G
