Squat and Deadlift Critique

It seems like your dropping the weight too soon in the deadlift, like it isn’t fully locked out/ shoulders back and you let go.

Also, looks like you not staying tight at all on the box, unless that was intentional.

Squat, not too bad except I agree with everyone that you don’t look tight. Definitely way too fidgety. When you are coming up out of the hole, you power seems to bleed off.

Deadlift, same thing about the lack of tightness. This causes a serious lack of leg drive getting the bar off the floor. Your head is down and your shoulders round. This leads to early rounding of the back from the top down, the bar drifts away from the legs and it’s pretty much over from there.

Whoever said your box squats are high is wrong. Your hip insertion is parallel to the top of your knee. You aren’t training to lift in the USAPL so disregard comments like that.

Keep up the good work, Your deadlifts where a little rounded but that’s to be expected when pulling near max weight. and PublickStews is right your squat was right where it needed to be.
