Spring 2010 Contest Run Up

OMG, a 7 year bump! -lol. okay then,… I’m always one to try and be helpful

My biceps didn’t change shape at all. I know some individuals who suffer tears and their muscle bellies end up taking on a markedly different appearance afterward (surgery or not!). I will say though that if one of the attachments has changed in some manner, it will have a visual effect.

My advice, just be thankful that your tear wasn’t worse than it was. My brother in law completely tore his bicep off the bone a few years back while flipping a 900 lb tire in a strongman contest. His surgery and rehab didn’t look enjoyable at all!

Thanks for the reply I really appreciate it and sorry for bumping an old thread – i had read that you suffered a similar injury and did not know how to PM on here using my phone. My bicep looks a little differently not noticable to anyone unless I point it out but was hoping to compete in physique so it bothers me. Second surgeon I talked to says I can wait until the tendon pops or he can deattach the remaining tendon and reattach it – he’s a sports orthopedic guy. I’m going to wait until school is finished in May and see how it is then. Thanks again.
