How is this different from all of the kids I’ve seen holding up signs at tea parties, saying what their parents told them to say?

really? how many times in history has hero worship every turned out good for mankind? That is something entirely different than expressing exasperation with a government. While I do agree with you that kids will do whatever their parents tell them to do - this kind of thing simply illustrates a cultish mindset that should frighten everyone old enough to remember people like Jim Jones, etc. Nothing good ever comes from elevating mere men to the heights of rapturous adoration . . . .
