THe Magnesium doesn’t seem to do much as far as getting me sleepy is concerned. Because of that, I figured that it might be optimal to split the three caps throughout the day rather than take them all at once before bed.
Any input?

Have you tried taking only 2 caps at night instead? I suggest that because if you take a multi-vit, then you’re getting enough zinc and you do not want to overload on zinc. It was in an article discussion about acne in T-Nation not too long ago. It may work but I’m not sure about splitting ZMA throughout the day since its purpose was designed for the night time before bed.
I can’t think of any cons. But, I can’t think of any pros either.
It’s just more times to remember to pop 'em.
Thanks for the replies.
My logic is that the goodies in Zinc can be better absorbed if split, since it’s not helping me much in the sleep department.
I’ll start splitting the dose in three and report here.

Sure, give it a shot.
I just don’t know of any problems with absorption from a single dose, with the exception of zinc and calcium. So, you might end up creating more problems on that front with multiple doses, depending upon your diet.
But if by not helping you fall asleep, you actually mean it’s keeping you awake, then I would try it. Another option would be to just take the full dose in the morning.
