Splits & Full Body: The Difference?

I have a question, when doing fullbody w/o you train your chest 3 times a week and when you do a split say chest/triceps you do 3 exercises each. What is the difference if you are still training your chest 3 times?

well its preference, but i dont get what you meen when you say tht when you train chest and tris its only 3 exercies. Anyways, its different for everbody. Also, I feel when I use split training, you’re able to do more work on tht particulr muscle as time nd recovery arent as big of a factor compared to doing a full body split.

Look at it this way, say you have to 2 hours to train a day. With full body training you have to compress all your muscle groups into tht time frame thus one would usually pick compound movements(which is great), but on split training in tht 2 hour period all you have to worry about is chest/tris and such, leaving more time for accessory work after the compounds leading to additional Chest/Tri training. Still, the main difference is preference. For me, split training has given me the best results and works best for my busy schedule as it is less time consuming.

What I meant is that in a bodypart split you might do chest and triceps. Three exercises for chest and Three for triceps.
