Well, at least you didn’t bomb! Yeah, one of the judges who was there today was very strict, I know he was when he called my lifts as well. I just try to be consistent. Sorry I didn’t stick around for your lifts…I came home, ate a cheeseburger, and had a nap. I’m a very tired girl (and I know I looked it too, lol).
You should come compete in March, I’ll ref at that one too!

We’ll have to see about that one…
Do they have any info on the web yet for that meet? I just searched and couldn’t find anything.

That sounds like a really good time and a great competitive effort. Congrats!
A 220 bench is just killin’ it.
ahem it was 232 - give the woman her props! ;)
My bad. Those numbers were so high, my eyes boggled.
Soldog, I haven’t seen anything about it yet, it’s usually at the Mountain States Peak Performance, which is a bb/figure show as well. It’s a big little event. I’ll let you know when I see anything.
And thanks for the kudos, my friends. More kudos - I’m starting a temp real estate job tomorrow, could go permanent. So thank goodness, Princess Lindsay gets to use her brain again, for a while anyway.

But it is 2009…
Whoops!
Have fun at work.
PMPM you are a stud!!
great job
More YouTube video comment shenanigans…
“Comment on your video: 200 lb bench great job. Why are you arching your back so much though? Personally it’s easier for me to keep my feet on the bench with a flat back.”
Hehehe.
I started work this week - temporary homeowner’s association lawyering stuff. It’s a good place. Today was the holiday party/lunch, and the partners gave everyone some cash and said, “Go buy yourself a Christmas present. You have one hour, and any money leftover comes back to us to pay for lunch.” I thought it was really cool to be included in the group after 3.5 days of work. I bought some gym shorts and some lingerie I’d had my eye on for a while.
Then, per firm tradition, we had to show off our purchases to the rest of the firm. I ended up blushing a wee bit.
I’ve not been in the gym since a fun Monday Sq/B/D/farmer walk session where I just worked some soreness out and divebombed some light (to 185) squats. I’d forgotten how tired you can get from sitting on your ass and thinking for hours.
I still have a pretty nice bruise on my right tricep from the shirt, and the cuts on my thighs from the suit are healing well. I had a few knee wrap bruises. I’ve had some really experienced people wrap my knees, and the Coach is always the absolute best.
Ron, if you read this, I beat Andrea’s bench record by 1.7 lbs. Do we bother submitting for this? Is that even a big enough margin to count for a record?
Of course, all the records at 165 are higher than the 181 records…so I have work to do still.
It looks like my next meet will probably be Women’s Nationals in Cleveland in May, although I may go do the March meet with Soldog and Arachne. So 2010 is looking like March (maybe), May, July (Raw Nationals in Denver), and December. I’ll need to get a new suit at some point (because dammit, I will be a 165 again). I have a shirt that will fit at 165 but I think it’s technically my friend Ali’s…but she’s out of commission for several months due to injury. So I might appropriate it.
Anyway. I ramble.
