You are my new hero PMPM. You just squatted more than most people on this site.
Thanks, guys. I feel sore and a little sickish, but actually ready to get back to the gym. I REALLY want a sled right now. Firebug has threatened to kill me (or she mightve said “call” me) if I don’t get back to 75 kilos for Women’s Open Nats next May.
6 kilos is nothing! Good thing it isn’t something intimidating, like 14 lbs! ![]()
I’ll need a smaller suit and shirt, so I suppose I should get a job. Ugh. Welcome back to the real world!
CONGRATS!!! And good luck getting back dooooown… ![]()

Maybe I could sent you my old suit. It’s a bit biggish on me now.
Just so you know, I’ve been bragging you up to everyone I know. You are an inspiration. An all that was only about the piercing. When I threw in the killer lifts… well that was icing on the cake. You really do rock chick.
Great work Miss P.
Awesome work!
Team Coach: “C’mon Lindsay, you gotta make this bench, you didn’t come here to go home empty handed. You know what champions do, don’t you?”
Lindsay: “Yeah, they go home and fuck the prom queen.”
He just about fell over. He was going for “Champions make their third attempts” but I preferred my paraphrase of Sean Connery in The Rock. Would’ve been better if I’d done the accent.

Priceless!!! Practice that accent so you can nail it next time!!
Hello dunno if you even remember sending me your videos for help but they were a great help !
Congraulations on the meet, though i have no doubt you will do much better except for the crap bench ^^
Again congrats, good luck with your training for your next comp ![]()
So, I went to visit my sister in San Francisco last week. We had a great time. I also got to drive out east to visit Vader, push his Prowler, and have a beer or two.
Prowler was awesome. I want like, seven of them. (so I don’t have to move them so much when I go to different places.)
Vader is sweet and no matter what he says, his calves are great.
Oh, and I’ve got a couple of videos to post - mine, from the hardest hand hold, on wet grass; his, on asphalt on the easy poles. Puss.

You’re merciless, aren’t you? I think I need lessons. This is what N. tells me, anyway.
Great video. It looks hard as crap to do. It can’t be as tough for Vader what with him having the force and shit to help him out.
Vader fails at trash talk.
You can’t see it in the video, but he was force-choking me the entire time. That’s why I struggled.

So, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, and feel like my success to date is equivalent to my success in college - based on aptitude and a little work, rather than dedication and a lot of work. Dan, my handler in Miami, said I’ve not been working hard enough, to my potential, and I agree. Law school wa the first time I couldn’t coast academically. I need to lift with the same sort of intensity.
It looks like I will probably do the December meet raw, so I will be training raw, with wrist wraps and a belt only. I need to get some neoprene sleeves as my fabric knee sleeves are now illegal for raw.

I was going to mention that I kind of felt you were a bit of a slacker.
If this is what you do when you feel you are coasting, I’m looking forward to seeing what you pull out when you apply some intensity. Plus if you could get lasers to shoot out your eyes when you are intense, that’d be super cool.
