I’m sure the shooter was never sold in school. Students bought it from 7-11 and then brought it to school. They were probably turned on to it by the local radio advertising promoting Spike as basically the king of energy drinks.
Long live the King!

They can’t drink Spike Shooters but they can eat shit junk food, smoke cigs, and sell/use drugs?
That’s ironic.

It’s funny, but I bet this twerp doesn’t have any witty comments when he sells people Double Gulps. Yumm…64 ounces of Mountain Dew. Let’s see, 8 ounce soda = about 120 calories, 8x8, mental math, carry the three…almost a thousand calories of liquid trash. But he’s concerned about a supplement with multiple warnings. Real humanitarian, this one.
They never were sold in schools, and I can’t imagine they ever will be. All the reports say they were sold at 7-11. Which means the kids went off campus, bought the drinks, drank them, then came back on campus and had their reactions.

Too much for me. Is there a caffiene free version?
You could use just half a can, as suggested on the label.
Or beg and please with the Biotest wizards for a caffeine-free Shooter. But since there’s both “traditional” and Caffeine-Free Spike tablets, I like to think a Caffeine-Free Shooter is already in the works. (Of course, I also like to think that when/if they do, they’ll send Jamie Eason with a case to my house to test market it. So I could be wrong.)

Strangely enough, when I was in school and used drugs, we were pretty good about regulating the doses of drugs we used.
It was allways the goofball kids that would get wound up on no-doze or some other similar stuff and end up getting carted off in an ambulance.
I still can’t understand that one.

I’m pretty sure using and selling drugs is still illegal. Same goes for cigs (when it comes to minors).

What do you do with the other half?

Share it with Jamie!
Fucking dumb kids are gonna ruin it for us all. Take some personal responsibility! You’re old enough to drive a car, are you too retarded to read a can label?
There’s not nearly enough natural selection.
GO SPIKE!! GO T-Nation!

Toss some saran wrap over the top and keep it in the fridge for tomorrow’s workout.

Sir, there’s only one thing I look forward to sharing with Ms. Eason, but Gentlemanly Decorum prevents me from putting it in writing here.
No doubt. It was a rather heavyset women that made the comment as well, shocker. He said it was all he had not go off on her.
Good to see it wasn’t sold in the school.
I remember in HS one of my friends eating like half a bottle of no-doz in one day. He was beavis from the beavis and butt head movie.

I don’t know how these things ended up being sold in schools in the first place.

I think folks are not getting enough sleep. You should see the quantity of caffeine consumed at my work place.
Now, if kids are not getting enough sleep, I don’t think kids should be running to stimulants.
Maybe the school should ask itself if the workload needs to be reduced for the students. Maybe the kids are really burnt out and looking for a stimulant fix – following in their parents’ excessive drinking of Starbucks.
And why do folks ignore labels? This is just plain dumb. Imagine how much creatine these kids are probably taking. It’s scary.
As an educational institute, the answer is to teach the kids to read and learn the value of sleep.

Hahahahaha, exactly!!
This is just too bad (fucken dumb kids), I’m sure Biotest will find a way to make a good situation out of this.
Look at the positive side, you cannot say Spike doesn’t work, now can you? I can’t say as much for shitty energy drinks such as Red Bull and what not…
PharmD Pete wrote:
That Youtube video was rediculous. I can’t believe they want to blame Biotest for this, when you can clearly see at least 2 different warning labels on the can.
These people need a can with 50 labels to pay attention.
It doesn’t matter how many warnings you put on anything.
People who care about warnings are the same ones who would see the two that are already there. People who don’t care about warnings wouldn’t care if the drink was called “warning”.
Sadly, it seems that being accountable for your own actions is something that is all but gone in the world…
I don’t know folks. Maybe the seed was planted by the “Street Teams” that were giving away samples outside the school in Aurora, which 9 News reports.

I agree that the label and the disclaimers are appropriate, but why even give out samples around schools when 3/4 of the student population are under 18?
Of course parents are going to get tweaked if that’s the case.

I am sorry this happened…but did anyone think it wouldn’t? There are just too many idiots around today. the real question is, will this affect my ability to get this supplement when I need it? I am a little tired of everything being banned because dumbasses take several times the recommended dosage.

There’s no doubt that was a mistake. Someone wasn’t thinking on that one. This supplement should have been dealt out as if avoiding kids was its primary concern. I’m just tired of other people’s children screwing things up for every adult walking around.
I just went to my 7/11 to buy some and it doesn’t sell any of it.

Was this at a covienence store near a high school?
It would seem silly to not be able to sample products in a store just because a school is located in the vicinity.
