So ok, as for as updates, I’m kind of conflicted. I’m over 200 lbs, which is awesome I suppose, and I’m not stupid fat I guess. Sadly, I probably need to be 230+ at my height at this condition to look half way decent.

But, in all honesty, this is about as fat as I’d ever like to be. Like, I honestly am kind of embarrassed to take off my shirt right now. So though I’m still little, I’m definitely kind of ‘ready’ to cut come the next week or two, because I don’t think I could gain much more comfortably, so Jake has done perfect with that.

I definitely still want to do the show and all so I guess everything is going as planned. Just giving everyone a peek into how i’m feeling and such.
I’m feeling about the same man, our own eyes are our biggest critic. You’re looking great and still lookin lean.
Thanks bud. Yeah it’s hard to be objective about yourself. And with all the carbs I eat, I can gain/lose 3 or 4 lbs in a day, and go from loving to hating how I look within a matter of hours. lol

Spidey’s GROWING,looking good buddy.

Thanks man, appreciate the support!

So today was one of those days, where I had to kind of face some demons. Nothing serious, just some emotional things involving people from my past came up, and was just kind of draining.

Regardless, it kind of made me angry, and I hit Legs today with a good deal of rage lol. So… I’m not even going to list the weights and such, because form wasn’t nice and controlled like usual, and all the lifts were done with like no rest. Did my entire workout in about 40 minutes, and used much heavier weight then usual.

It’s neat to kind of see that I’m capable of more then I think, but I can never summon anger too often because I’m kind of a typical nice guy and easy-going. lol. But yeah, I feel dead now.

Cardio

So today, tried some pre-WO carbs. Not a lot, 2 pop-tarts with 2 tbsp of PB on them about 60 mins before I lifted. Felt I had a bit more energy, but to soon to tell.

Just btw, new macros I think are pretty money.

Went down to 450/220/80 (knocking carbs to 350 on my 2 off days) from 500/220/90, and feel way better. Energy is a bit better, feel a bit hungrier, less bloofy. So definitely think this is my ‘sweet spot’ macro wise.

Bloofy? What are your main carb staples right now foodwise?

Lol bloofy just means kind of watery, bloated, etc. Carb stables are rice, potatoes, pop-tarts, and sweet tea right now, and that’s really it. Ever now and again, I’ll end up going out and having to hit my carbs with something like gummi bears or something lol. But honestly I can’t eat all to ‘dirty’ anymore, because it seems to tear my stomach up.

Ok just to tell ya’ll what I’m eating day to day. I basically have 3 ‘meals’ everyday now, with protein coffee in the morning, and then ghetto peri-WO nutrition lol

Wake-Up: Coffee + Whey + 2 tbsp VCO (20g P, 30g F)

Meal 1: 4 Eggs, Steak, Veggies (50g P, 20g F)

Peri-WO Nutrition
60 mins before: 2 Pop-Tarts + 2tbsp PB (70g C, 15g F)
During: Gatorade (100g C)
PWO: Whey (50g P)

Meal 2: Meat, Starch, Veggies, Sweet Tea (50g P, 140g)

Meal 3: Meat, Starch, Veggies, Sweet Tea, 2 tbsp PB (50g P, 140g, 15g F)

If I’m happening to eat a bit more fatty cuts of meat or something, I’ll skip PB in the last meal, and remove an egg yolk or two from morning meal to fit my macros.

On off days, I remove the Peri-Wo, and usually just distribute 50g P, 70g C, and 15g F to Meals 1 and 2, and 3. Cutting the Gatorade makes it easy to knock 100g of Carbs down on off-days.

Meats are chicken, steak, fish, and rarely pork. Starches are rice (like 3-4 nights out of the week), potatoes, pasta. Sweet tea is home made, and it’s seriously my one ‘must’. When I diet, it’s what i want most lol. There ARE hectic days, where I’m out all day with friends and carbs come from gummi bears and stuff, but most of the time it’s this.

I think I’m going to try having the peri-WO stuff EVERY workout, and drift from CBL for a bit. So even if I lift in the early morning, I’ll do the peri-WO stuff. See if it helps. lol And if you’re wondering why I chose pop-Tarts, it’s because they are quick, easily digested for me, and delicious.

Poptarts and gatorade? Oh man fuck you, if I ate that every day I would just get fatter. =D

LOL I know it sounds like a lot, but looking at the food you have to pound to support your size, my intake looks like a small girls :frowning:

6-23-13

Push Power

Floor Press: Fuck
175x8
185x6
195x2 <–Goddammit

DB Inclines: These felt good, great stretch with a tweaked grip, felt awesome.
60’sx10
70’sx8
80’sx6

Rear Delt Rows: Felt great
55’sx3x12

Meadow’s Swings: ohhhgoshhh poor delts
30’sx4x30

Strict OHP: Well I never do these, and after fatiguing my delts, I’m alright with the lightweight lol
85x8
105x5
125x2

Rope Pushdowns:
50x4x10

French Press:
50x4x15

Well, everything was good, minus the Floor Press. I’m just disappointed that strength wise, pressing just stalls so easily for me (2 or 3 weeks of it not going up or decreasing actually now). Obviously arms are longer then the Amazon, but I just feel my pressing is abysmal, and it’s no coincidence my chest and triceps suck as well.

I’m open to the idea of it being mental at this point, but pressing on ‘big’ lifts should just be a lot stronger…

6-26-13

Meadows Rows:
100x3x8

DB Rows:
110x3x12

Rack Chins:
+10x10
+25x8
+40x6
+60x4

Reeves Deadlifts: Didn’t push weight on these, but these were great. Did these explosively.
180x5

Face Pulls:
3x8

Reverse Curls:
3x8

EZ Curls:
3x8

Good workout. Now, sadly, Jake as prescribed I take off from lifting or macros for the next 4-5 days… It might kill me, I haven’t taken more then 2 days in about a year now. lol. But, if it’s what Jake thinks is best, I’ll do it. Will still be posting updates on Friday, though.

A week of wasted gainz bro! jk

I’m sure you will be hungry next time you roll into the gym.

Have you gotten a tan yet?

Pressing movements are slow to gain. They were for me. Don’t get discouraged brother just keep at it! Especially with long arms. Your arms and chest will fill out, just give it time and some more age. You are still very young.

Good work my man. Refreshing to see someone with dedication.

Yeah definitely. I usually am eager to lift even on off days, so this will definitely push me a bit. lol

LOL what just happened haha

But actually I’m switching my cardio to hill sprints outside on my off-days, so getting some sun guys and gals.

And thanks for the support Bauber. Pressing is aggravating, and if I’m honest I’ve noticed I’m not as ‘aggressive’ as I am with legs and pulling. It’s partially a mental thing. lol
