Thibs’ Eternal Warrior follows the opposite progression…it hasn’t worked as well for me. Pauses and eccentrics get longer each week. I think the idea is to maintain the load; I simply couldn’t keep up week to week and had to rest-pause through a few sets.

The program ends with weekly ramps, but you precede each with a prep circuit, then each set with a high-speed movement. Light weights feel heavy, I even missed a squat for the first time in ages.

I think I’d like it better progressing from harder to easier; in fact, I may do that if I run it again
