ok, alot of people like both. im one of them, but if you had to choose one which would it be and whats your favorite episode.
Mine: South Park
theres so many but ill have to stick with the Special Olympics one when Cartmen fakes himself into it. and at the end they rip on Bonds, McGwire, and Giambi.

Family Guy.
South Park has swung for the fences on some huge topics and has been hilarious throughout the process, but they’ve also been a hit since they were created.
Family Guy had to fight back up the ladder after they were completely cancelled and ended up kicking ass anyway. Peter is Hilarious, the Ugly Meg jokes stay fresh, and the supporting cast (Joe, Cleveland, Quagmire) are well written and funny too.
Damn, you Combine The Flintstones and The Simpsons, modernize it with sex crazed/ handicapped neighbors, and you let the baby and the dog talk, you got the recipe for success…
I still like South Park but the whole bad 80s movie spoof thing is a bit tired.
The Family Guy style is based more on just the random and unexpected rather than cohesive story line. I definitely laugh harder during FG as a result and it’s harder to get bored with it if it’s done right.
Mine would be family guy although i can’t really think of a favourite epidsode. South Park is definitly funny but in a more immature way aka fart jokes. One thing Family Guy is starting to do way too much tho is the flash backs, i think peter says “remember that time…” like 10 times an episode now. Still funny as hell but literally no plot line.
South Park for longevity, Family Guy for the quick laugh.
Unfortuanatly, the new family guy’s have long jokes that just plain aren’t funny. The songs, the annoying noises, and the long incoherent sentences that go on waaaaaay to long.
South Park makes a point. A funny, funny, funny point. My vote for South Park, The Passion of the Jew.

Passion of the Jew was good, for sure.
The Walmart episode, god damn, even now that I’ve seen it a few times I still wait anxiously like a kid at christmas for the characters who died to loudly shit themselves…

excellent marklar.
marklar tend to be marklarred by whichever marklar marklar has most recently marklarred. thus, marklar really marklar the marklar in which marklar gets hits marklar and then gets his “marklar”. then marklar marklars his marklar. then marklar marklars as if marklar is marklarring his marklar. of course, marklar marklars.
I don’t see how you can like both Southpark and The Family Guy… I don’t see how both shows can appeal to the same sense of humor. I loved Southpark (before it ran out of gas), and I think The Family Guy is the worst show on TV.

haha one of the first ones man. good shit. how about that xmas special that ive only seen aired once where all the creatures have kyle kill the mountain lion so they can give birth to the antichrist and santa comes to town and fucks people up. “Bloooood Orgy”
I dig both of them. Although I think South Park is getting a little preachy.
The Family Guy episode when Brian owed Stewie $50 was priceless. The beating Stewie gave Brian made me laugh until I seriously thought I was going to die.
Also: Futurama is in the same league with those two shows as far as comedy is concerned, It is classic Simpsons good, but more adult themes.

I agree with you, I don’t mind family guy, and to me it’s watchable, but I totally can see why it got cancelled.
The Simpsons seasons 1-8 [with an emphasis on seasons 3-8]. If they had stopped making 'em after season 8, we’d be talking about the greatest show-animated or not- in television history. Both South Park and The Family Guy blatantly rip-off the Simpsons. South Park even did an episode making fun of themselves for ripping-off the Simpsons. Yall’ve been schooled.
I love them both but if I had to pick one episode I’d have to go w/ South Park’s Rasisins (spoof of Hooters) episode. The Goth kids were hysterical, reminding me of high school, and I damn near pissed myself when Jimmy said to Wendy “Stan says you’re a C-C-C-Cunt–inuing source of inspiration!” with her naturally storming off before he could get it all out. Priceless.
