Sons of Anarchy Returns

This is how I feel about Opie being dead:

After processing it though, we probably shouldn’t be surprised Opie is gone. The club killed his wife, his father, and now he is dead because of the club. Bummer though as Opie probably had the biggest heart of anyone in the club. Though I do agree that losing Opie will “wake up” Jax in some way. Certainly in terms of vengeance, but in other ways as well.

Agree with whoever said it was kind of weak sauce for Opie to go down like that. Yes, from a real life prospective one would assume a veteran biker would fare a bit better(or at least be a bit smarter)when fighting off numbers. Him standing in the middle like that was like a Bruce Lee fight scene where the bad guys politely wait to attack you one at a time. And while Opie was a bigger guy, he was never really made out to be the big badass of the club. I mean, Happy would have killed all those fucks, pipe or no pipe. [/quote]

I think that Op wanted to die. Everyone knows that should have been Tig and yet, Op threw himself in the middle. It still pisses me off because the past two episodes, I’d almost be sitting on the edge of my chair thinking Op is back! Then, in less than a minute, he’s done. How can they keep shitheads like Juice around and get rid of one of the best characters?

I forsee Jax becoming a Pope like figure maybe that’s how the series ends whenever it does. I think pope is right predicting he’ll go from player to king.

Possible, but I see Jax fulfilling his father’s dream about what the club should be. In the first episode of the season, Jax is writing his own thoughts on the club. I think it ends with them getting out of guns and drugs.

Yea that’s pretty much the other option, it’ll go one of those two ways. But to be honest as dark of a tone as this season has who knows what will happen.

didnt read any of this because i missed last nights episode, recorded it to watch when i get back home. But am here to bitch that not only did it get ruined for me by people on facebook, what i believe is going to happen was on yahoo home page when i opened it today. NNNOOOOOO will come back after i watch, friday or saturday. shoot.

yeah, i read the posts before watching the recorded episode, but it did not deter from the impact of Opie dying.

wow - this could mean so much, it would take a long time for me to decipher the meaning of it, his decisions regarding it, and the impact it will have on Jax and the MC.

wow - just wow.

Jesus, the actor that played Half-Sack apparently killed an old lady and then dropped dead. WTF?

3 seasons left to get where it’s going. They are planning season 7 being the last one.

the guy with the prosthetic leg was one of the nomad SOA called Peggy. I think maybe either jax is using them to turn the club around and get them out of the gun business and mulling or clay is using them to regain control. either way OP is gone and I hate the writers and am severely but hurt!

I knew it was going to be Opie - brutal scene - that just sucked watching him get his head bashed in while Jax looks on helplessley. Ugh - he was a great character.

But that’s why it’s a great show - the stakes are HIGH. And with the last few seasons coming up obviously things are escalating big time.

Damn I’m bummed though…

But I loved Jax so cold and emotionless telling that prick guard that he is going to find him, and kill him.

The last 15 minutes of this episode is the first time in this series that Jax has looked like a legitimate bad ass motherfucker.

How beasty were Opies triceps in that vest. I if I had to do one of the SOA boys Opie would defo be my pick(sohomo)

How shit but gripping would it be if jax turned into another clay. like Michael Corleone becoming his father, the man he swore never to be like in godfather two after having Fredo whacked and the gray shot and music over his lifeless eyes.

Also LOVE ROMEO, DUDE IS SUAVE

Lol - yea he actually did show some thick triceps when he takes his shirt off to fight.

Ah man that was just some sad shit…next week is the funeral - that’s going to be rough.

And all of a sudden, this thread just went from 0 to 100 on my interest meter.

I think that’s exactly where they’re heading with this. He went into this with the intention of changing the club, but in the end the club will change him.

Heyyyy SkyNett

No doubt it will be an awesome scene when Jax finds that guard from the hole. I’m pretty bummed about Opie too. How can I have such an emotional investment in a tv show? Makes no sense.

Opie? Shoulda called him “Mopey”.

So you lost your wife and dad; that is awful. But, you still have YOUR FUCKING KIDS TO WORRY ABOUT. I don’t understand how you can be more dedicated to some stupid club than the HUMAN BEINGS YOU GAVE LIFE TO.

Oh wait, you left them with your porn star ex-gf that aborted your unborn child without your consent? And she only agreed to take them temporarily (for a couple weeks), and even then only because you gave her ten grand? OK, totally fine then.

Just a little rant. Still sucks that he got killed obviously.

Surely a woman does not need a mans consent for an abortion man, I mean shit what if opie didn’t agree she should be forced to keep it?

But yeah, I was glad when they killed Donna off, fucking nagging all thge time, she was the equivalent to Walters wife in breaking bad.
