Son is pissed at me over AI

I heard the clap in my head. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I have some good friends that are all on Sora. We have nearly an hour of total content that is a continual story. It’s all mostly true stories that are AI embellished.. but, given Sora videos are no longer than 15sec, the 52 minutes we have all together is pretty wild.

That’s cool. I see people stitching together 6-second Grok vids into mini-movies several minutes long. Impressive. I haven’t tried that yet. What do you use to stitch them together?

We use CapCut on our phones.

We have a shared ChatGPT space, where we have defined and built out conditions that Chat then retains for script and effects development. That way all our videos are shot the same.

It’s kind of fun to watch the transformation Sora makes. Initially, you could only have cameos with your friends. They since released the ability to create your own characters for better continuity. We are in process of recreating old videos with the new characters.

As I was typing to say I don’t get it even though I’m older, the overly large bicep in the 2nd picture finally clicked LOLLL.

I’m back on The Team!

Received today (100% serious, no embellishment) from a stock newsletter I subscribe to…:

@Chris_Shugart or anyone else. Can you suggest a alternative app for my phone besides Chatgpt?Which im paying a subscription for.

Running into conflict with the censorship built into it … Which seems inconsistent.

Case in point it would not let me generate a comical cartoon image of someone getting folded over in the squat. Because it violated a rule against violence or bodily harm.

But after seeing what I could get away with. It allowed me to create a stereotype old Vietnamese women chasing my little bulldog character with a fork in her hand.

Try Grok.

I created below in chat. Sometimes you have to change your phrasing, as it doesn’t quite get connotation or slang.

I think it was because he looked too human

Grok probably, but I’ve only used GPT and it. Both can can be weird about restrictions of different types, and both are hit and miss: same prompt violates policy one day, but works the next.

I had issues with the “bodily harm” thing when doing images for injury articles. And GPT refused to resize this image below because of wokeness and because it’s a stock image of a real person:

But they let me cartoonize it. Weird.

The AIs are under a lot of pressure because of deepfake worries. And the woke ideology pops up more in GPT. My favorite example: It refused to create an image of a slightly overweight woman for an article I was writing. When I asked it to create a “safe” prompt, it said I had to say “plus-sized fitness model” not “overweight” which is offensive.

Crazy thing is, when I used the safe prompt, it created an image of a very obese ugly woman when all I wanted was a slightly overweight person. The safe prompt made a much more “offensive” image!

It all becomes a game, and the rules change hourly. Grok has a whole fanbase that uses it to make porn, and it’s mostly a game to them to bypass the restrictions. “Gooners” they call themselves. Pretty funny.

Yeah im not trying to make xxx content. At least pg-13 at times. Still surprise it let me make the old asian lady chasing a cartoon dog with a fork.

Here were my prompts.

‘Create a cartoon like image of a human like muscular Bulldog in a squat rack. The Bull dog should have a heavy barbell on his shoulders and the weight should be more than the dog can handle causing him to bend over’

‘Now recreate it, but the weight is too heavy and the dog falls down’

‘Apply the same condition to the person in this image’

Yeah I wasnt even going that far and it told me no.

Ai is like a woman. You have to date it, build a relationship, treat it well, create a safe space for it to perform before you get down to business.

I see.

Id tried pushing it last night with these 2 pics.

2nd one told it to put soap dispenser in the other hand…. it said it was a no no

I’m also in hot water with ai, btw. I decided not to sell my company and instead start a new service line. In that process, I didn’t like our marketing people’s logo proposals.. so created exactly what I wanted on first try with Chat.
