Johnny Biceps: International World Saver

Hey guys, I’m not selling anything. Just wanted to hit you up with my new comic strip series. I can’t figure out how to post the image, so check it out at JohnnyBiceps.com

Or here’s a link to view the comic:

Umm…Best of luck with your comic strip and hopefully no one will tear you a new asshole.

Welcome to T-Nation. Tip your hostess on the way out.

I give up, bowing out of this one gracefully

Well JB… it’s been done before (using repetitive clip-art images). Not that THAT’S the problem per se. Your writing needs more content, and definitely a more dynamic “voice”.

Go to the bookstore and spend a few hours in the comic book and illustrated novel section. Observe, absorb, and apply.

Good luck.

I actually lol’d at the GNC reference.

For the record, International World Savers are not created at “GNC.”

I dig the simple graphics. Is this something you’re doing on the side? If so, how often are you updating the site?

Fuck it, I’m a reformed comic book collector; If you’ve got a good story line intended, I just might follow.

Call me curious.

Drawing your own avatar makes you a true T-Man

I thought it was funny. Not too deep or groundbreaking, but I liked it. The CNG was good and I can just hear in my head the “They don’t even know.”

What the fuck are you on about…

OK good. I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know what the hell was going on in that.

No… Trust me, you weren’t.

I think the animation style is interesting but dude, you’ve got to formulate an actual story of a comic strip before you publish it.

I thought it was good

lol…

guys- check out my blog when u get a few minutes… i have a very dry sense of humor and this comic is in no way intended to make it to any comic conventions.

thanks for the feedback, though!

-JB

whatever

you guys dont even know

I don’t get it… are we going at humor, or is it just a lead-in to a character driven piece? I’m seriously not trying to be rude,… I did a weekly strip when I was in college, and it was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever undertaken, if I wasn’t particularly funny a given week, I’d really hear about it.

S

However, I did think THIS is quite funny.

Is ‘You don’t even know’ some sort of meme that I haven’t heard of?

Very odd comic.

Eh, I liked it.
