However, I also perfectly agree with Brick here. It is pretty hard to ALWAYS restrain yourself calling X out on his bullshit. Some days you simply ignore it and other days it is too much. And on those days when you ignore him some other guy can’t take it anymore.
And let’s us be clear here, X is NOT a Lyle McDonald. Everybody would agrees that the latter is an arrogant prick on the Internet BUT that guy is also smart and knows his stuff. X doesn’t.
Also, it is not simply that we don’t like “him”. Most of the time the shit starts when people disagree with the content of his advice/argument/position. Then instead of defending his position in a normal way, he does his usual bullshit routine, nicely described by Greg several times on here.
What to do? I agree with Z that putting him on ignore is probably the best option for the quality of this forum.

Not so. Most here are college kids who know nothing about having to make priorities/time management/etc. And most of the college kids go to universities in the middle of po-dunk nowhere and major in kinesiology. Some of us are doing quite well educationally/professionally, but let’s not pretend that this board is populated by real adults who have settled in lives. BlueCollar and PX are outliers in that respect.

I take full responsibility for it. I ate the food, I let myself get too fat, (which, BY THE WAY, was no fatter than X has appeared in his “progress” photos on this site, claiming that it’s just part of his process), and most importantly, I let myself take the advice of a keyboard syncophant with nothing to lend him credibility besides for the 44" waist pants he’s got to wear “because his legs are so big”.
I just felt like putting my 2 cents in on the other thread in order to keep others from being misguided by our resident Dental professional and having to deal with everything that I did as a result.
