Something I Think Everyone Should Do

it would be a lot crappier without him imo

haha

I don’t understand why I always get singled out. Most people gave him much more shit than me these past days.

I actually got use out reading the bb forum when guys like waylander and bonez were posting with zraw. Those people clearly achieved success in this, as they don’t feel the need like Prof X does to get his ego up on these forums.

Now all I see are Prof X’s ???/capslock broscience arguments, when clearly it’s possible to talk nicely about this sport of getting a pump and eating protein. I definitely can’t resist posting a few troll sentences at him to get him writing paragraphs in his own defense, so I’m adding him on ignore too.
thats a shame, X won’t be able to ask you for advice on how to get huge now

i haven’t seen any “broscience” from him, just offering his advice based on his own experience. If that is broscience, then I’d like to know why you are even on a forum. Why not just read pubmed studies instead of listening to people who have their own beliefs about things based on actual experience

personally i’m interested in how some of the people who got up to 220-250 train, how they eat, etc. If I wanted pubmed studies from idiots who don’t even look like they lift I wouldn’t be here
pubmed? I’ve never posted anything here about pubmed lol. I got up past 220 so I’ll give you some advice based on my own experience. Post up pics from different angles and post a log on the site. Regardless if you look like you lift or not, it’ll keep you accountable for your progress, and you will get some very useful feedback from lifters much better than yourself. FWIW it’s helped me a lot so far

This is a pathetic and childish thread.

Ok bye
Aaron Clark won’t post here because of Professor X?

x2

surprised it has 1 been made and 2 supported

what a bunch of fucking pussies
ironmanzvw wrote:

I think it was clear that by everyone I referred to “everyone giving him shit”

How would this not be beneficial?

PX has a six figure job, lives in a big house, is big himself and trains hard. Guy has his life in order. I want to at least have the chance to see what he posts and judge myself if what he posts in any particular thread on a particular topic is interesting or insightful to ME. Not all posts are created equal but the one consistency is the man behind the posts.

I would agree if posters like
Bonez
Waylander
Some new ifbb pro

Had not left the site in part because of him/his attitude etc

Trust me youd benefit way more from these posters, and so would everyone else

I’ve only singled you out in one post because you’re posts crack me up (in a good way).

Folks, IS is NOT obsessed with X. X can annoy or infuriate the most laid back people. And although it might be inappropriate or infantile to goad him on or insult him, it is very hard to practice restraint, especially when you see him behaving extremely antagonistic and dismissive to some people just minding their business.

That’s who he is. It just means he doesn’t do a good job at masking his personality behind the internet, unlike some posters who you thought you knew and then they just surprise the hell out of with a post here and there. With X you know what you’re going to get.

hey i agree and you bring up a good point.

TONS of great guys have left over the last 2 years and havent been replaced in terms of volume at least.

you know these guys better than me but i thought bonez left cos of his gf (although maybe that is some kind of in joke i dunno) and waylander was more related to Biotest?

either way i dunno but it seems a stretch that very good posters are literally leaving cos of PX

Correct. However, most people, if they want to get ahead or not constantly be under attack, usually leave SOME of their feelings reserved at appropriate times. For example, most who know me personally–friends, family members, co-workers who I work closely with, my woman–know that I hav a tendency to be irritable and agitated. I even used to act like that on here. But as time went on and I matured a great deal, I learned that I have to keep those tendencies in check if I want to have good relations with people and remain employed and stay out of harm’s way.

How was that clear?

Also, Bonez, Way, etc left for reasons not limited to being annoyed by PX. If X was a factor, he was a very minor one, except for with Bonez.

The thing is, that a few people don’t seem to realize, is that ANYONE involved in these same squabble threads over, and over, and over, and over, and over again that keep repeating the same shit over and over also look retarded and seem very insecure. Whether it’s Professor X, one of his detractors or even people like myself who actively don’t participate but sometimes feel the need to point this^ out. If EVERYONE just grew up and accepted differences, there’d be a lot less 6-year old girlish tantrums just because they don’t like someone else.

Not to derail this, but how does that effect the quality of someones post?

Will you like mine more because I meet these criteria? Im not big, sure, but Im a nice bloke, who enjoys a delicious refreshing protein shake as much as anyone else.

I am a borderline PX liker/hater. Depends on the day.

I wondered the same thing. Most here have a job and their own place (life in order).

It’s self serving to imply your approach is more mature/honorable than PX. You haven’t ‘walked a mile in shoes’ and are in no position to establish the standards of T-Nation etiquette. I have no hesitation crossing x [pun intended], but I assualt the message, not the messenger.

Not so. Most here are college kids who know nothing about having to make priorities/time management/etc. And most of the college kids go to universities in the middle of po-dunk nowhere and major in kinesiology. Some of us are doing quite well educationally/professionally, but let’s not pretend that this board is populated by real adults who have settled in lives. BlueCollar and PX are outliers in that respect.

To be honest (and a bit of a dick), I would probably be an a-hole too if I were a 30+ year old who has been lifting for more than a decade and someone like browndisaster, squatting like 300 and deadlifting the same, tried to act like he knew more than I about training. And I would probably be a dick if someone spoke as if I lacked consistency or dedication when the other person is a college student or works in a gym with nothing else going on.

Nah, X is a prick who doesnt give the best advice and doesnt know that much about bodybuilding beyond the early stages of packing on mass and a boat load of horrible fat but I think it would be a mistake to put him on ignore. I think those that want to progress in the world of bodybuilding know who to listen to on this site and would tend to just skip through PX’s posts anyway
