Someone Help Interpret My Lab Work

I’m a 28 year old male that has had fatigue for 5 years now, absence of morning erection for almost 3 years, lack of energy, motivation, etc. I decided to see a physician that specializes in TRT treatment. Here all the labs he ordered

The doctor then proceeded to order me Clomid 50 mg by mouth twice a week on Monday and Thursday. And Anastrazole 1mg by mouth twice a week on Tuesday and Friday.

Is that an effective treatment for me based on my labs? I’m afraid of starting clomid due to hearing about irreversible vision changes.

Oh, I’d also like to add that my LH was a 6.8 in 2017 down to 5.0 in early 2018, and now in late 2018 a 3.4 as you can see on the labs. What could that mean? Why does it keep dropping? My test is dropping along with it.

Thank you if you take the time to go over my results.

Run from that doctor as fast as you can and find a new one.

Why?

How’s your lifestyle with regards to diet, workout patterns, sleep, stress etc? Do you take any prescription medication, supplements, recreational drug use? Any past experience with regards to experimenting with anabolic steroids? How’s your thyroid, iron levels, adrenal function etc.

LH and FSH are the two hormones that stimulate leydig cells to produce endogenous testosterone, less LH and FSH means less stimulation for the leydig cellz. A lowered LH and FSH indicates there is a secondary variable causing the drop in your testosterone levels, hence why I’m asking all these questions

In your case I’m not sure medication is nessecary, you may be able to fix these issues with simple lifestyle alterations. Try a more natural approach before jumping on the HRT bandwagon.

Are you taking any medications? I took medications for 30 years and was always fatigued and eventually it lowered LH to a point where it made simple life difficult.

Not on any medications or do any type of drugs, rarely drink alcohol. I sleep at least 7-8 hours. My thyroid results are above, not sure how the interpret them, since they fall in the “normal range”. Like I said doc wants to do Clomid 50mg twice a week and Anastrazole 1mg twice a week, I feel that’s a lot.

You will crash your estrogen hard taking that much AI and feel worse than you do now

Have you gotten your adrenals checked? Aka cortisol tests

Do NOT take that AI unless you feel symptoms coming on. Itchy nipples would be the key to look for. You will tank your E2 and feel like absolute shit. Hold onto that Anastrazole until needed. Do not take as recommended. Your E2 was a 27, if you take that AI, your E2 will be crashed within a week or 2 at the most.
