Any advice on next steps would be greatly appreciated. I would rather not rely solely on the advice of my doctor. Thanks!

Your TSH is low due to the armour. Since you’re getting exogenous hormones, your body doesn’t need to pump out TSH to increase thyroid hormones production. This TSH reduction is perfectly normal and expected.

Your test is really low, but before hopping on TRT, I’d take morning temperatures, check iodine intake, and then, if that doesn’t give me a cue, try a Nolvadex/ Clomid restart, and see if that increases your testosterone permanently.

Other thing, the total estrogen test is really low. I’d test estradiol (E2) on its own with an ultra-sensitive array and see where you’re at. Your aching shoulder and neck tell me your E2 might be dangerously low, we need healthy E2 ranges to function properly.

Do you feel like someone gave you sleeping pills after 4 PM? Because the not dealing well with stress part might be slight adrenal insufficiency. Any dandruff, acne, or chronic infections (ie tonsilitis)?

Fingerstyle, thank you for the advice. I just completed a 24 hour saliva cortisol test today but probably won’t have the results back for about a month. As for my temperature, this morning when I woke up it was 97.6 when taken orally with a digital thermometer. Sounds normal to me since rectal is supposed to be more accurate and is typically about one degree higher. I didn’t take that measurement but adding the one degree would put me right at 98.6.

As for the iodine, I am going to have to look into that more and get back to you.

Again, thank you so much!

Hello everyone, so I got my cortisol labs back and the levels were slightly low. However, there still doesn’t seem to be a good explanation for my secondary hypogonadism. My doctor suggested some natural options. Maca & some expensive amino acid and adrenal supplements. I let her know that I would like to try clomid to see if we could restart my natural leutunizing hormone production. However she was not familiar with the use of clomid in men.

She wanted me to send her some articles to review, which I have. I also let her know that if we go the route of trt then I would like a test, hcg, amiridex protocol. She said she would be fine with all but the hcg. She wants me to send more info on hcg too. Do any of you have a link to a study that demonstrates the use of test, hcg, and an ai at the same time? I will need to provide something like that.

Any help is much appreciated!
