I have not played guitar for very long; but if I could think of a fun song to play if I had the skill level, it would be Jessica by the Allman Brothers. You would especially like it because there is no singing.

“Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You” was the first tune I learned all the way through. This is a good tune for people who want to learn how to use arpeggios to develope melodic ideas.
look in to classic rock. eric clapton, jimi hendrix, led zeppelin… lynyrd skynyrd has some cool stuff, the allman brothers band will keep you practicing for days, stevie ray vaughn et cetera.
