My wife and I started thinking about changing gyms since our membership was up, and I’m amazed at how many FOO FOO Gyms there are here in Denver, CO. I Don’t need a pool, I don’t need a shower room, don’t need a rock wall, don’t need a smoothie bar, don’t need somebody asking if they can wipe my ass, I don’t need a gym that I get yelled at if I get some chalk on the floor, just need some weights and some cardio equipment surrounded with others that are not into these FOO FOO Gyms!
I"m convinced that there is nothing out there anymore but overpriced, and underused FOO FOO Gyms.

Hey, if they’re offering…
out of everything he was ranting about this is what i was going to comment on as well … here’s my comment:
Whoa whoa whoa, hold the phone. They wipe your ass? And what’s the problem again?!?
Haha. Well, it’s the only thing I haven’t heard people complain about from their gyms so far. Home gym FTW!
Armbrust and RMLC, and I know Craig Weller was doing something downtown here a few months ago. I train at home, RMLC, coach’s garage, or my local rec center. The rec center isn’t perfect, but it is cheap, there is a PLer who works there, and they haven’t said anything about my chalk, bare feet, or equipment.

Yeah, it’s sad that the gyms that stay open and make money nowadays are the ones that most closely resemble day spas… I guess at the end of the day it’s the general population’s fault for wanting to be pampered into fitness instead of actually working hard for a body they can be proud of (and actually USE).
I’m in Fayetteville AR; I currently train at the University fitness center, but only because it’s the only gym in the entire city (out of 15-16 "gym"s) that has power racks instead of just Smith machines.
The last real gym in town – an OLD SCHOOL gym – just closed its doors six months ago… All of the old equipment got sold (before I had realized they were going under, I might add; otherwise I’d have a fucking storage shed gym by now), and what just moved in? What else but a 24hr Fitness.

Probably a bad choice of words, sorry was just ranting as I’m pissed off about this whole thing! Either way you all are sick if you want somebody else wipping your ass…if thats the case put on a frickin diaper and go back to your mamma! And besides, I think you have some problem if you think its okay for someone else you don’t know to be touching your ass, but I guess if you are into that its all cool…I mean I have friends that wipe other peoples asses…in prison!

Man…I know what you are saying…Its pretty sad when you tour a gym and there are more smith machines that power racks. Oh Well! Gotta workout!
