So She is a Half He-She

Is it really their fault? There have been questions from the beginning. You have to look at reality and in the beginning disprove all theories. She chose to fight it every step of the way it had to be publicized at this point people have been waiting weeks to find out.

I assume she passed the basic gender test because it’s pretty standard and easy. By “passing” I mean she is chromosomally XX. If that’s the case, and by some hormonal fluke during development her ovaries formed into testes, I don’t see how they can prevent her from competing as a woman. She is chromosomally female and just has the “lucky” advantage of having way more testosterone.

I’m very interested in hearing if she is XX, XY or XXY.

Yeah, wow. What a crazy situation! In a news clip last night, they said her testosterone levels were 3 times higher than a normal woman.

I don’t care too much for money either, Ct.

Money can’t buy me love.

Even if she is XX, she still has the obvious unfair advantage of balls.

Why would anyone else even try until she retires?

Really is a shame that it is public, I would of imagined they did more extensive blood work and would of caught this before the race but no.

They both do…except the hairy armpits kind of give Jarmila an edge…lol.

Also…there was Stella Walsh who competed in 100m back in the 40’s. When she died, they found that she had male genitalia during her autopsy.

Then there was also Santhi Soundarajan…an Indian 800m runner who was stripped of her/his Asian Games medals for failing a gender test back in '06…she/he also attempted suicide not too long after that. Here is a recent article about her and her advice for Semenya:

I wonder if she’s got a boyfriend.

Someone called it in the other thread.

Why’s that?

Very strange condition.
Has anyone even heard of this condition before…?[/quote]

I remember reading a random article about it a while back on CNN or something. Short story is they look female on the outside but have some male parts instead of a womb inside. If I remember correctly they had some perfectly normal, pretty good looking women in the article but I can’t find it now.

This is why they should not ban AAS but find better ways of testing. This was a race to find the smoking gun as to why this woman’s hormones were the way they were. In other words the hunt for the smoking needle. And the confirmation she was a cheat. So all the other cry baby countries can feel better about themselves.

I think that before all races blood tests are ran by a body governed by the sport itself. If your levels fall in a range you should not be in then you ass gets pulled before the race. This way she would have never made it to this level. And a PRIVATE investigation would have reveled the hormone in balance. You would find it common for people to be pulled last min for levels being slightly off the norm. And her issues with internal testes would be secret and she could have them removed. And then she could race again after passing blood testing.
No harm no foul.

While that would have been a better way to handle the situation, the girl still would have been pulled from the race without doing anything wrong. I agree with someone above, this is a lose/lose situation.

My point is she would have never made it to that level competition in the first place when the blood test showed something fucked up with her hormones. Alarms kinda go off when women have more vitamin T then the average level of your peers. Then she could have been returned to a normal state and continue running with out all the media hype about a cheat or sniffing for a roid scandal. Or looking for gene doping or what ever is the next BIG THING in sports cheating. Just so those sharks/reporters/media can cause or get some kinda of sensationalism and sell papers or get rating points.

Ah, I see what you’re saying. But what if she didn’t want to have the surgery to have her testes removed? Should she still be allowed to race?

Its happens to about 1 in every 10 000 births, well the XY XX chromozone confusion does. The extent of the testes or ovaries developing then depends from there but its pretty common apparently. I read an article the other day where a normal 19 year old guy who lifted weights, had a girlfriend ect went for a medical an they found he had ovaries!

Why the fuck do people care about this shit?
What’s next? Everyone pretending like they are the biggest MJ fans after he die…oh, nvm

Wow. And think, some of us could have ovaries and not even know it.

And other women competitors could have the same condition but still not be nearly as good as Semenya. Shouldn’t they be pulled from the races as well…?
