Congrats on getting third, Brando! Are you going to keep logging your training on here? I would be interested to keep following along. Have you guys decided on your next comp? I’m planning to do the one in Richmond, VA on 4/20.

I think we will still be keeping our log on here but, we probably wont be posting as many videos for a while lol. I’m not sure if we’ve really decided much on one but, we had looked at a couple different ones around May. There’s Beast of the Bluegrass which is pretty close to home and ran by one of our friends and there’s also the Kumite 8 in PA that we have considered. I doubt I’ll be ready for either at this rate lol. Again, it was very nice to meet you and best of luck with training! Keep in touch

As for keeping the log yes I will begin to get my ass back in gear and keep a log, videos are gone for a while, takes up too much time and I feel we need more focus on improving instead of hitting numbers for videos///videos will come when big PR’s come///plz do follow along, ill try to keep up better than I did last week!
Last week—did bench for first time in forever/hit 275x8, not too shabby I suppose since I suck at bench! Started hitting close stance Olympic squats ATG again, worked up to 375x5 with belt and VERY loose wraps, mostly for knee stability/ did 18" DL last week, hit 500x5, 585x5, 625x3, 650x2 belt and straps only, those were the highlights of last week/went to the Arnold classic and met up with some cool guys had a blast! Hope all is well!

Really smoked my entire upper body, triceps were done so I didn’t have to hit them directly, good day of BB style upper
I have really slacked on this log since the contest lol.
I’ll post up full details of my times and reps when i get some more time but, I placed 1st in the Novice HW 232+ class. I’m very pleased with how the contest went.
My hip is giving me lots of issues right now so, no squatting, deadlifting, or training events for me for a while.
I benched on 3/7 which was the first time since we switched to strongman
i dont know what to call the movement but, I paused the bar for a 1-2 second count about 2 inches off my chest then pressed
I worked up to 300x8 on this movement (I believe)
Then i wanted to take something a little heavier to chest
i believe i did 330 for 5 or so?
Then i moved on to some strict overhead press
worked up to maybe 155x8 or so?
Then i finished with some bicep work
Not too disappointed with this since I hadnt benched in months

Well you can directly upload the videos to TNation on your profile and such, but they usually come out kind of crappy.
I would just upload them on Youtube, but put them as ‘unlisted’, so they are only available to places you paste the link too. Or just disable comments. Don’t let a few bad people ruin it for the rest of us, man. lol

next we did carries with the atlas stones, first the broken stone that weighs around 135, then with the 185 stone, just went for as far as we could go, after this my body was SMOKED so we called it a day, I got my GHR from elitefts today and man that thing is sick, its hard as HELL compared to other ghr’s so i expect to really hit this thing hard, also got my ironmind sand bag in so its time to fucking play
