reason its in bb forum is…i use to be a powerlifter, decided to dedicate some time to bodybuilding and that was my last post here, so i came back kinda with an update thread and its turned into a log of my strength progress, it kinda just happened, didn’t plan on training for strength ever again but just got sucked back in :slight_smile: what can i say? I love to lift heavy shit!!! Thanks for looking!

Just wanted to do some light squats. My back is starting to recover but, I will be easing into it. I need to do a lot of hamstring and hip flexibility work. I think the chiropractor is actually helping. I wish I could pull heavy on Monday but, I have to be smarter about things. Everyone did really well. The new guy has good form. Wish my cousin could train with us this week but, hopefully he’ll be back soon. Until I can squat and dead heavy, I guess I have to look forward to bench lol

Kinda a bench accessory day or hypertrophy day whatever you’d like to call it, i just went in and did some stuff that i use to do when i was bodybuilding, haven’t been able to do this in some time because of wrist injuries elbow pain etc, love getting a good pump, glad that i got to get it in!!! Got the new elitefts rack and a db bench, very very very nice stuff and built like a tank, gonna have to drill one of my own holes though i guess they forgot…other than that bullshit the rack and bench are fucking SICK, best built stuff I’ve ever seen, i got the 3x3 old school rack with plate storage, and the old school DB bench, very very nice additions to anyone interested, i will try to post a video of kind of a gym tour soon and let you check everything out, still deloading so no need to post any log ATM STAY UPPPPP

As PC stated, it was ridiculously hot. No one felt good but, we still got the work in. This is my first time pulling since I had the set back with an old back injury. Back felt okay, I just can’t be too fast off the floor right now…which sucks. Speed from the floor is my strong point. Oh well. Also, I have to quit being so fat…the heat is going to wipe me out lol

overall good day, training earlier and getting finished earlier, its hot as FUCK here in southeastern kentucky right now and humid as hell, oh well, really hoping to keep everything rolling well, we have a new plan, main exercise/variation of main exercise for higher reps/then one assistance exercise, THATS ALL the work we are doing to save room for recovery, we may also throw in some abs or neck afterwards but basically this will be our template and we will rotate our main exercise every week and try to work up on our assistance/accessory stuff!
