So Here's My Story

So I’m 36 years old and this started 2 years ago. Went to the doctor feeling like shit and tired all the time. Had T levels checked and free test was 105. WAY low. I’ve trained my ass off for years and have a great diet. Never been able to put on any size. I bench 315 2 rep max, Squat 405x5 deadliest 475x5. I’m lean in all the extremities but have grown a small gut since about 25. Never goes away. SO. I went to a urologist aaaaaaand just like I’ve read on this site that was a horrible idea. I was put on androgel and that was a fail. No change.

Then the 1.62% gel I went up to 210. So he put me on test cyp 200mg every 10. Back down to 115. Long story short I was up to 600mg every 8 days and I got up to 300. I never had any sides or anything, not even a zit. My boys lifted a bit but not like atrophy or anything. I never had an AI or anything or any other support for that matter. I still feel like shit still haven’t gained any size and my libido is shit. And if I do feel like getting ass its a 50/50 shot wether I get off or not. I want to plan a cycle but with the above I’m lost. What would you guys do in these shoes?

Would HCG help your boys?
And I would run a full cycle try and kick start everything back in to gear, proper dieting and PCT and you would be feeling fine all through out. But that’s just me., after cycle you might jump back down. I’m sure many others will disagree with me.
your already on TRT so that’s would be my personal reasoning.

your size gaining issues are most likely due to your diet/training

Well my diet is clean, 4000 cal average. Usually eat 9 times a day. 40p 40c 20f. I stay pretty consistent with it and log it all. Training I hit it hard, I’ll usually do 3 weeks of really heavy low rep (6-8) then 3 weeks as heavy as I can for 12reps. 1 body part a day.

I don’t mean this as an attack, so don’t take it as such, but I don’t believe you.

If your diet and training was really as perfect as you say, you’d be getting bigger.

No I get you and I’m with you. So at 30 I weighed 169 after surgery on my hand. I recovered and rehabbed appropriately and immediately went to 4500 cals a day. I know weigh 208 6’ and my current bf is 18%. I have gotten biggerâ?¦ but not a normal persons almost 7 years of busting ass. I feel like I should be bigger. Maybe I’m retarded. Maybe the Dr. telling me my nuts don’t work put a psych spell on me, I don’t know.

This is making a little more sense now.

I realise that 208lbs at 18% doesn’t seem big in internet land, but think about it. You’ve added 40lbs and can bench 1.5 times your bodyweight for a double!

That’s a decent lift, and 208 at 6ft is not a small dude. Not HUGE like a heavily juiced lifter would be, but not small by any means.

I think you’re being unnecessarily hard on yourself. Yeah, if your hormone profile was better you might be bigger, you might not. But so what?

Your physique is always going to be a work in progress, so don’t get frustrated, just be proud of what you’ve accomplished so far and keep on keeping on.

Just change your injection frequency from every 8 days to twice a week. This would be my 1st option. You may process the medication much faster than normal. You might even do every 3 days. I’d be willing to bet this will solve your problem.

Your lifts are pretty decent. I wish I could rep 405 on squat like that…and bench 315x2. And DL 475x5

Maybe just change your view of yourself a little bit. Think of yourself as the wirery strong type, I mean we are all different. But your lifts show that your body can get the job done, so maybe that’s just the way it is.
