Thoughts on those for hypertrophy? I did those yesterday for the first time in ages. Did 4 sets with 135 walking it 250 ft a set. Medial delt doms today I haven’t felt in years literally. Driving today and steering was hard, lol. those have to pack on medial delt mass is my guess. Will stick with those for a few weeks. I did follow those with two sets of seated db presses.
For hypertrophy, we want a distance of around 60-80 meters per set, so you were in the right zone.
My favorite utilisation is as a superset with a typical hypertrophy exercise… something like 8-10 lateral raises + 60m overhead carry
Thank you! I do follow your distance recommendations so I set up my carry course to hit those hypertrophy distances on my street. Will definitely try that next time with the laterals. I sprinkle in y raises in between sets of farmers and zerchers as well. Such a nasty trap pump indeed doing those for that distance. Occasionally going 300ft max. Thanks Christian
I sprinkled in lateral raises in between snatch overhead Carries last night like what you mentioned. 4 rounds. 285ish ft a set. Delt pump was insane. Ended with wide v bar dips. Heck of a push session in garage
