Take what you can, give nothing back!
sorry, was watching Pirates the other night. But you are taking what you can and not giving your shoulder a reason to keep you from progressing.

Somehow I think not, Jumpin’ Jack Flash. In fact, I just received a nice long form to fill out from my insurance company to see if any third party could possibly be responsible for me blowing out my shoulder.

Uh oh, I was there for it. Don’t blame me, I was just pushing on the bar when you unracked.

That’s just a form letter they use to try and fuck plaintiff’s lawyers through the subrogation/right of reimbursement clause in your ERISA plan. I’d still try and claim the prowler. All they can do is say no.
You got my nickname pretty close. It is Jumping Jack Krash. One of the other skiers gave me that moniker after I crashed for my third time ski jumping in a tournament and woke up on the swim step of the safety boat. Good times.
Jack: Every time I see your moniker, I think of that song by the Stones. You an attorney?
PMPM: I’m giving my insurance company your name and number. They can try to pin the blame on you.
Joe: Your right! It’s a 50% increase in weight! I hadn’t thought of it like that. Bet no one else here is making gains like I am right now! [Sticks tongue out]
Regarding hair styling . . . this is huge. Not that I’m a big primper, but I was pretty limited before. Hard to do pony tails and braids with one arm.

Even better - think of it as doubling your working weight and demand that all bow to your awesomeness because no one can come close!

Was that three bars? Or does Texas have reciprocity?

Two full bars, the WA Professional Responsibility, three background checks, and a lot of freaking fees.

The exact reason that I am NEVER MOVING. Ever.
Hi Snapper! You are making enormous gains from week to week. Leaving the rest of us in the dust.
I hadn’t considered the difficulty/impossibility of braids with only one arm. At least you won’t get stuck in anymore tops whilst in store dressing rooms…
yay on the hair style options! and I like the double weight lifted…keep that up and you’ll be back where you were in no time…jk/do take it easy!
Ahh, such a nice subtle way to point out that Joe and I can’t do math (but I really can!), lil power. Going from 1- to 2-lb. dumbbells is indeed a 100% increase in weight (or double); not 50%. So lil power is both smart and strong.
That’s great work on the recovery. I’m so pleased for you. The real strength isn’t what you are lifting but the mental strength you’ve shown in sucking it up and doing what you need to do. Plus, you can do more hairstyles ![]()
That emoticon is just for you.
It was great meeting you today snapper!
thanks for all the support and great video you took!
George
it was great to hear your voice during soldog’s performance. Now I can put a voice to the sarcastic comments without emmoticons…
love ya too!

Congrats on being back at it girl! (I’m just catching up here.) I know it was driving you nuts while you were rehabbing and I’m thrilled for you!
I think the good dog will attest to the fact that I am a very nice person. Right, George?
Yeah, the meet was a blast. I must admit that I left Friday’s session feeling quite down. What with not being able to participate. And gains so very slow for me at this point. I’m experiencing more pain and crepitation in my shoulder as a result of increased use. It’s a bit hard to take. Plus, I talked to several lifters over the weekend who have had similar injuries and advised a very slow recovery time. Doesn’t sit well with my personality, really.
On the plus side, I am full strength (six plates) in the leg press. Damn, I hate that machine. I also successfully unracked the bar in the cage. Difficult and painful. I lasted about three seconds with an empty bar on my back. Once I have something exciting to report training-wise, I’ll do so.
Report the unexciting stuff too, it will help keep you focused and we’re all nosey like that anyway.
^ totally.
^ x2! Seriously nosey.

ummm what? OH, right! yeah snapper is a perfect gent…, ummmm, lady. Yeah - that’s what she told me to say…
kidding aside, snapper is great in person and we started talking pretty much like old friends. I didn’t see a sign of the sarcastic… (oh, wait I wasn’t supposed to say that…)
