Snap Back

I can see a teasin view of all those tight back and shoulder muscles as you set up.

very very nice

Well, I don’t want any knee cave. You got an extra breast tissue? I’ll take that in exchange.
Nope. None to spare, says this A cup, because my friend Victoria can still help me maximize what I’ve got.

I calls 'em like I sees 'em. You don’t like your butt and thighs, you’ve said so before. A few flattering pictures of said body parts would do you a world of good. Buy the Santa hat.

Kimba is recruiting for the christmas special

I spent all day yesterday at the state gymnastics meet, where my daughter competed. She did awesome (9.35 vault, 9.1 bars, 8.95 beam, 8.4 floor). And thus ends the competitive season for her this school year.

Today starts my new 10-week training cycle. My coach designed the program. He’s never managed my training like this before and is definitely a believer in “less is more.” I tend to gravitate toward overtraining. Anyway, this program will have me peaking in about three months, right before my next meet. I’ll give it a try and see how it goes.

I don’t have a Santa hat [yet] but I do have a holiday apron. Maybe that would suffice for a seasonal avi?

Things that make you go…Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Since you have seen my squat videos you understand why I have no helpful commments so instead I will say, your arms are jacked!

I’ll just go look for Affliction tee shirts now…

So you have a little Olga Korbut on your hands? Good on ya’. Congrats on some nice numbers.

The apron would do more than suffice, I’m sure of that.

First day of new training cycle.

Squats were all touch and go to a box. Really stick my ass out, hit the box, and fire up. Feels like partial squats since I’m so used to ATG. But my coach assured me that they’re legal depth.

5/55
4/65
3/80
2/90
1/95
2/5/110
5/115

With bands from top (helping me not go too deep and fire easily outta the hole)
3/135
3/145

Sumo DL (These suck. I hate myself.)
3/8/115

GMs
3/8/55

A) Lying Hamstring Curl
3/8/70

B) Standing Calf Raise
3/8/210

Boy. I’m weak in the accessory department since I haven’t done this stuff for awhile.

In an ironic twist of fate, I get off the box as you get on it.

Actually, though, I could still get alot of benefit on my “sitting back” cue from squatting to a low box.

But look! A real training where you don’t even mention your shoulder. You would have killed for this six months ago.

Blah, blah…great training…shoulder…blah, blah.

Waitaminuite…is that a Santa’s helper outfit in the avatar? With boots? The awesomeness!

But it is so small, even when I get really close to my screen. I’m writing a letter to Santa.

edit: What? I thought I saw something. Where did it go? Maybe I’m taking too much cough syrup??

So ironic, Kimba. I hate the box. I feel like I’ve been put in “time out.” Actually, I feel like I’m doing the equivalent of a curtsy in the cage.

Git, this site is possessed. Possessed, I tell you.

Okay. I posted a pic. And then I got shy and removed it. Now I can’t even get an avi to post.

I haz a sad. I see no picture.

I see no avi.

Snap, make friends with the box. The box, it is your friend.

I am VERY SAD I missed the Santa pic. Fuck shy. It doesn’t have your face in it, right? Put it back! Or PM me.

I do, however, highly approve of the lime sports bra and the abz, arms and shoulders showing. Nicely done.

First squats with a belt. Someone enlighten me about the benefits?
Would you like a simple answer ? Or one of my long winded explanation.

Thats good looking squating, as a rule I hate squatting to boxes which means you are better than I.

Also sumo DL’s are of the devil…

conventional rules. I tried sumo once with a froofroo gym bar that wasn’t long enough. set it down on my toesies. took my ball and went home

hey! i hope your feeling better sickness wise! WORD!! a turbo new program too !

Just realized I never looked at your meet videos. Deadlifts looked good and strong. Bench, admittedly light for you looked, well, light and easy. Squats looked kinda loose. The freefall and extra depth are not of themselves problems, but it looks like the combination knock you forward at the bottom. (Probably stuff you already know, just another perspective.) Thanks for posting those.

Get well, and then ready for the next one.

I’ll be boxing it up, too. But for the opposite reason as you, you Cricket.

The patented PMPM bench press setup can definitely be painful, but I just use the pain as a motivator to bench faster!

I’m in rehab for all my lifts right now, Carl. But you’re so right on the squat. The loose freefall to the floor definitely is working against me in terms of handling serious weight.

PMPM: How opportune a time for you to stop in since I spent today learning how to build an arch PMPM-style. Considering I’ve always been a flat back bencher, I’m making progress as the vid shows. It’s not much yet, but way better than I’ve ever done before. I find that my challenge in holding the arch is in keeping my ass down at the same time. You’d think with the substantiality of it, that wouldn’t be such a challenge.
