Have fun and be strong.
And we all know that I’m at the top of the list to be drug tested with the obscene weights that I lift. Wouldn’t that be flattering, though.
Chest hurt last night when I slept, but once I got up and moving I’m not doing too bad. I will be loving my ibu tomorrow.
Weighed in this morning at 111.5 on my trusty scale.
Hey, that’s like one of my lifetime goals, to do so unbelievably good at a contest that someone somewhere starts a rumor that I’m using banned substances.
I’ll ask Jennifer to test you instead of me.
Good luck this weekend, hope you feel better! Now go and own that platform!

SNAP SNAP!!! SHES ARE GAL !!! IF SHE CANT DO IT !!! NO ONE CAN!!!
Good luck Little Lady ![]()
Smash weights, snap. Good luck.

great subterfuge to weaken the competition ![]()
That was a great meet snapper! It made me happy to be there cheering you on and being your video crew.
I’ll leave it to snapper to post the details. Suffice it to say she did a great job!
Can’t wait for the details and video. Thanks soldog.
I can hardly wait to hear about the meet! Your public awaits.
I’m on tenterhooks. There’s no update from Brute either.
Great meet.
So much fun to lift with PMPM and Brute. And to have Soldog as our own personal videographer and cheerleader.
Meet highlights:
Weigh-in: 110.1
Squat opener: 126.5 lb good and ATG
Second attempt: 143 lb. good and ATG
Third attempt: 148.5 lb. fail in the hole
Lots to work on here. Gotta retrain myself to not squat SO DAMN DEEP and lose out on weights I should be successfully managing if I weren’t picking up crickets off the floor in my ass crack because I’m SO DAMN DEEP.
Bench opener: 55 lb. good
Second attempt: 66 lb. good
Third attempt: 77 lb. good
These all flew up, which bodes well for my eventual return to serious benching.
Deadlift opener: 187 lb. good
Second attempt: 203.5 lb. good
Third attempt: 214.5 lb. good (5.5 lb. shy of 2x bodyweight)
Lots to work on here as well. Not dipping enough and pulling too much with my back. Regularly training this lift should cure me of these problems. I believe I haven’t even begun to tap my potential with this lift since I wasn’t fully maxed here and hardly trained DL in recent months.
Will post vids.
Thanks for reading.
KP,
excellent work and congratulations, yes those are deep squats indeed, my ass is that close to the ground only when I’m standing in a hole. Awesome, I hope you had fun.
congratulations on the meet!!! what fed is that??.. no belt or anything?? is it one that would consider a tampon supportive gear??![]()
yeah… you definitely need to learn to cut those squats short. i applaud you for being able to get that damn low. i’m lucky to get to parallel with my tight ass hips.
get those elbows down:)
Nice work, and to borrow a Wendler quote, 3 whites on squat means you went too deep.

Congratulations also, especially on the deadlifts.

you did great and you know it!
no comment on the squats
bench - you came out fatigued but unhurt: best possible outcome!
deadlift - you need to put more weight on the bar just like your coach said!
Well done!
