Rehab looks like work. Whats up with that?

That is the first (and hopefully last) emoticon I will ever type.
Actually, the PT is hard work. And I’m increasing the weights every second or third session, so I’m definitely making very slow but steady progress.
In a few months, I hope to be logging some decent numbers (for my size) for the big lifts.
^^ Been there done that. PT sucks.Hope to never do it again.
You’ll probably get 30% stronger just by moving your log over here. Of course, you will probably get 50% smellier, so its kind of a trade off.

only had a problem with one shoulder. Use to throw with that shoulder/arm, switched to the other. Shoulder doesn’t bother me anymore, just lost a lot of flexibllity in it. Problems all gone, so’s the one who caused it.
Your Pt work out looks grueling. Keep at it.
wow and emoticon Snap! it must suck rotten eggs.blah.
get it done. and right and you won’t have to do it again.
Late to the thread but glad you are posting over here! Good luck with the rehab!

If I changed my avatar to a picture of myself wearing a bikini top would the neighborhood decline?

Ummm . . . I can’t really answer that. Why don’t you give it a try? I’m going to put a new avi pic up soon. I’ll be more . . . clothed.
Physical therapy today. Weights are going up. I’m actually hoisting the 10-pounders for some exercises. The ones that isolate the reattached muscle, though, are still frighteningly difficult even with miniscule DBs. It took me 90 minutes to get through all the exercises today. I’ve started to do them bilaterally so my injured arm doesn’t outpace my other one. PT is more like going to the gym anymore. Since full range of motion has been restored, I don’t really need my therapist. His days are numbered.

Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Let’s not get rash, now. With all the non-displayable bodies here (Tony “Abz-man”, you and Ouroboro being the exceptions), there is no need to to hide it…
Glad that the therapy is going well. It just never progresses as quickly as we would like. This is one arena where patience is rewarded.

I can’t say for certain, but people might not want you posting on their logs ![]()

Wore my belt for my box squats. Just trying to get the feel for squatting in a belt. Never have before.
On the homefront, my kids started school today and one of our guinea pigs is extremely sick and has a tumor, which seems to have appeared practically overnight. Feeling emotional. Okay I’ll stop or you’ll kick me back to PW.
aw.

Nice deadlifts.
In my best Ahnold voice…“its not a tumah”.
Probably a swollen lymph node. Kids can really freak parents out sometimes. Kids rarely get tumors and they don’t suddenly grow. But blocked up lymph glands a plenty.
Anyway - Hope they all get better and you stay healthy.
It’s the guinea pig that has the tumor.

LOL! Big misunderstanding. I thought it was a term of endearment.
I’ll shut up now.
^^^ That gave me a laugh, in a sad way. Yeah, we’re loaded with pets here: dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens. I have a feeling we may be having a funeral this weekend.
As long as it made ya laugh a little.
Boy do I feel stoopid.
I like your training. Never dealt with any sick guinea pigs, but plenty of other animals have passed these walls, especially of the scaly sort: iguanas, Savannah monitors, snakes, plus some cats that made their way in and out. One left to a nice seeming couple and returned after the police had raided their house. Now it is just the dogs. I am happy with that, but I am sure there will be more critters in the future.
