I couldn’t go back even if I wanted to. [/quote]

I eat like a normal human being most of the time now, except with less starchy carbs, and more protein, veggies, and fruits.

Breakfast is an egg white omelet with a few yolks, veggies, cheese, and a low carb wrap, and a fruit.

Lunch is at work, which I get for free because I’m in the nutrition and food services department. I HATE food prep at this point of my life! Always a sandwich, either tuna, turkey, or ham. I add some veggies on that or have the veggies they’re serving for the residents that day. I’ll have a fruit also.

Dinner is after a workout run: Lean pro, a starch, and a large salad.

I have two snacks a day, usually one is Greek yogurt with mixed nuts and seeds and raisins. The other snack is pro powder mixed with water, peanut butter, and frozen strawberries.

So to wrap it up, it’s 3 meals (like a normal person) and 2 snacks (like a normal person). Oh, and peri-workout shakes.

I’m dome with the tupperware days. If I’m out, I get something healthy at a restaurant or fast food joint.

Eh, that is only normal to Americans (maybe Europeans too, I don’t know).

I live in an area heavily populated with people from Southeast Asia. They aren’t eating too many sandwiches.

I lived with a couple Thai kids in college. They pretty much lived on white rice, other canned fishes, curry and veggies. Some noodles. But they didn’t eat the deep fried shit that most people think of when they think “take-out.”
EDIT: And pork, those guys ate enough pig to kill a small village.

They pretty much never ate out, always cooked at home and brought food to school with them.

No offense to anyone but fishsauce is fucking nasty. That shit smells so god damn bad, it might taste like heaven, but I can’t get it close enough to my mouth to try it. And I like 99% of seafood.

But the first and second generation Cambodian and Vietnamese kids will eat takeout and fast food and shit, it is rare to see the older generations, the actual people that immigrated, eating outside the home. Certainly not to say they don’t, just not nearly as much as say my family or I do.

Ha, I fee like I’m being stalked with that stare, and can’t really focus on the thread at hand.

One thing that’s great about eating in this manner day-in and day-out is it takes the guess work out of your meals.

Before I became interested in training I would be in the mindset of “I don’t want eat X food today because I had it yesterday”

Now I’m pretty much content eating the same foods over and over for weeks straight.

just got back from a crusie in Alaska and you should have seen some of the meals I was eating. At least two steaks every dinner and I had at least one waffle cone with vanilla ice cream ever day… at least one. Oh man it was awesome… a seemingly endless supply of food that I didnt have to cook or pay for. I wanted to get a picture of all my empty shrimp cocktail containers (5 empty ones that once contained 3 jumbo prawns) but when I got up to get my steaks the little server guy took them all away!

I think I’ve got a few pics on my camera when I get them downloaded I’ll try to throw some up.

Sounds awesome. Can’t beat quality food you don’t have to cook for yourself.

Large chicken breast with barbecue sauce and melted cheese wrapped in 2 pieces of bacon, served with white rice and mixed veg.

Large serving of spaghetti bolognese with parmesan cheese.

4 pork steaks in sweet chilli marinade served with mixed veg.

Looked so good I had to try it, except why cut it in half? Why not just use a full burger for each side…then have two of that. = 4 burgers in total
