haha, A real Carbophobic would negate that corn…
Haha, in the middle of a cut phase right now. Only carbs are pre and post workout, with the occasional bowl of oatmeal with breakfast in the morning.

I’m so used to eating a shit ton of carbs that I don’t even think I could do that low carb shit anymore. I’m at like 500g of carbs at least 4 days per week right now… :
I was up at about 400g of carbs a day before I started this; dropped down to around 50g a day or so. Horrible the first week or so, like I could never get full no matter how much I ate.

Trying to go from 400G of carbs to 50g in a short period of time was probably not a good approach, it would take alot longer than one week for you to transition to burning fat for energy as well after such a high carb intake. Once you body transitions though…no problem.

And for dessert… Greek yogurt, scoop of casein, and blackberries

blend the casein-yogurt thing and make fluff…wont regret it.

Wheres all the protein coming from?

yesterdays breakfast… 5 eggs with mushrooms and broccoli all scrambled up with some mozzarella melted on top…and some steel cut oats with a bit of honey and cinnamon

So this was eaten with the next item as a high carb day. This was added on to everything that i normally eat. You know what didnt gain a lb. Weird

I eat a bowl of pro-oats everynight and its always this big. Before this i have a bowl of rice that is the same size

Is that the “no sugar added” kind?

No blender in the dorm room. Will when I go home for the summer though.

Oh, and those macros are from both pics. So the protein is from grilled chicken, a scoop of casein, greek yogurt, and a few from the sweet potatoes

No way is that the no sugar added. I need my carbs. And have you seen the ingredient label on no sugar added ice cream. That will give you some serious gastric distress. Watch out toilets. Especially when you eat the whole thing like i do.

Yea I understand, id say there is a fair amount of carbs in an entire cartoon of ice cream though… Although, it seems you do much better with carbs than I do myself. I can do one huge very large carb a week without any ill effects, but multiple carb days like you describe do settle well with me.

Also, concerning sugar alcohols, I seem to do just fine with sorbitol, but molitol, (spelling) is pure, gastric suicide…

Works well enough for a dorm room:

@Ryan and Facko, I’ve been following some your guys posts and seen the amount of carbs you put down on a training day. I have to thank you for motivating me to enter more and more carbs into my diet. As a once carbaphob strict paleo follower, I have seen much better results carb cycling; as well as a much more attainable diet. Now off to get some sleep from a carb induced coma…
Its all about finding what works for you. I know i run much much better on a high carb diet. High fat doesnt do anything for me. Carbs give me energy. Literally. After pounding 600g i feel fantastic. Just keep experimenting as you learn you body you can keep tweaking things.

OH, I would figure it was higher. Still, for me on my hi carb day, my carb meal would be the ice cream container.

I put this together last night.

Indian-spiced chicken (garlic, ginger, turmeric, coriander, and cumin), peppers, onions, and lotus root (boiled/mini-pickled in white wine vinegar and water before going in the pan).

Self explanatory, except maybe the shot of walnut oil
