Really? that’s weird, I use to eat a dozen eggs everyday, and I’d find a ‘double’ about once a month. Now that I eat organic eggs, straight from a farm, it seems I get them even more frequently.

Weird. I eat pasture raised organic eggs and have never ever seen a double.

It’s called a drumstick, and it’s the best part by far.

Yeah, it was killer. Don’t really like turkey as I find it to be inherently dry and kind of bland, and almost never eat fried food for a variety of reasons, but fried turkey is fucking awesome. It’s pretty much the only way I can enjoy the thanksgiving staple. And Raj, WC is right: the drumstick is by far the best part of any bird.

Since it’s the Holidays the grocery store has had prime rib roast on sale…I ask the butcher to cut 3-4 steaks off some of the larger roasts and ta-da,! I have bone in rib eyes for the week!

The one in the pic is just a regular rib eye though…still fucking good. I don’t marinade or anything, just salt and pepper.

wait, prime rib is the same as ribeye just w/ the bone still in? didnt know that…

re: salt and pepper

cant go wrong w/ salt and pepper but i think using kosher salt and (fresh) cracked black pepper makes a world of a difference… that and letting the salt/pepper sit on the meat at room temp for at least an hour or so

Just posted a pic and accompanying story… Where they be?
