Snap a Pic of Your Plate

So do any of you guys live in a city with a little Portugal? If so I recommend you guys check out churrasqueira (I think that means BBQ in Portugese) rotisserie chicken. It may look like normal rotisserie chicken, but it taste about 10000000x better than the grocery store stuff. When they take it off the rotator, they chop it up and paint each quarter with hot sauce.

Great BBer food and taste great for anyone who really likes salty food.

I was in the area so I grabbed 2 whole chickens.

posted these in my log and in the Mc Donalds thread here goes nothin.

Gregrons Gourmet Burgers

1.5lbs of lean ground beef
4 strips of thick cut nitrate free bacon
diced onions (didnt have any garlic to go with it) :frowning:
cubed pieces of firm goat cheese
worcestershire sauce

final pic of the spread

toasted ciabatta bread
avocado
steak sauce

delish

got a new grill on saturday (no more burgers in the pan!) and cooked up these salmon fillets last night

1.4 lbs of salmon fillets
EVOO brushed onto the fillets
Sea food Rub (cant remember the name)
Squeeze lemon juice all over
Top with lemon slices

the final product of the salmon.

Grilled salmon
Spinach salad w/ broccoli slaw, a yellow and a red bell pepper, large avocado, diced green onions, raspberry vinaigrette

Well played good sir. Well played.

Steak and A1

Had a go with the reverse burger, it was awesome.

In between the burger I had lettuce, tomato, pepper jack with jalapeno cheese, and a fried egg.

there are few foods that can’t be improved by a fried egg or two.

ok so heres a snapshot of my lunch. NOM!

9oz free range chicken breast (yeah… 9 oz AFTER it was cooked. This was a giant chicken)
1/2 tbs VCO
rosemary and garlic

SIDE: Mango Rice salad
Rice (sliiiiiiightly under cooked so its crisp)
Mango
Bell Pepper
Red Onion
Cilantro

chopped up all the goodies and mix it in the rice. Throw that bad boy in the fridge so that its cold, crisp and fresh. Great on a hot day like today with the chix straight off the barbie.

400g chicken, 600g potatoes, spinach with olive oil. Salad not pictured.

FML if I knew this thread was back I woulda taken a pic of the 8-10 crabs I ate last night.

My fingers look like I stuck them in a paper shredder lol

I’m really starting to like these reverse burgers…
