2x5: deadlift 163 kg, military press 63 kg, pullup 14 kg
1x10: db floor press 44 kg
Day 40 of 40! This is it, but let’s make it a little more challenging. Same weight, same volume, but 1x10 instead of 2x5. Should be doable.
1x10: deadlift 163 kg
Surprisingly fast and easy.
1x10: military press 63 kg
Went OK.
1x10: pullup 14 kg
Damn hard, could not get full range on the last two.
1x12: db floor press 44 kg
Not bad.
OK, time for something different, and something I haven’t done in years - one lift a day. And since I haven’t squatted in like two months, let’s start with front squats. Off sawhorses, as usual. First week is 7x5, so…
5x5: front squat 99 kg
2x5: front squat 109 kg
7x5: pullup 14 kg
Finding a way to put heavy weights over my head is tough with the equipment I got - I have a cheap bar with ends that don’t spin, so cleaning or snatching anything heavier is tough on the wrists. I got no rack for getting the bar into position, either. So, let’s try one-arm db overhead presses - at least I can use two arms to get the weight into place, then one arm to lift it. Stabilizing the thing is tough, though…
7x5: One-arm db overhead press 26 kg
3x5: deadlift 149 kg
4x5: deadlift 169 kg
Was out of the country Mon-Fri, back today.
6x3: front squat 119 kg
4x3: pullup 20 kg
2x3: pullup 22 kg
1x3: one-arm db overhead press 30 kg
3x3: 31 kg
2x3: 32 kg
1x3: deadlift 189 kg
2x3: 199 kg
2x3: 203 kg
1x3: 209 kg
209 kg (or around 460 pounds), btw, is five wheels with my 20 kg plates and cheap little 9 kg bar. In other words, it’s not really five wheels, but kinda looks like it.
1x5: pullup 16 kg
1x3: 24 kg
1x2: 30 kg
1x5: deadlift 179 kg
1x3: 213 kg
1x2: 221 kg
No belt.
