Smokin' Aces

God Damn I can’t wait for this one.

Right up my motherfuckin’ alley baby.

B.

Yeah, I saw the preveiew last night. Looks fuckin awesome.

There’s not really anything else out there right now (is there?) so I’m really looking forward to this one.

I don’t think its him but one of the assassins looks like Tim Syliva. He’s the taller guy with the mohawk.

It looky good!

I’m glad Alicia Keys is doing movies.

I would rather watch her than listen to her.

She’s hot but her music is kinda pretentious.

I’m looking forward to seeing the hitcher. Also, I saw the preview for an FBI movie with Jamie Foxx last night, which looked awesome. I forget the name of it, though.

Any movie with Teen Wolf Too and The Piv is golden in my book

I’ll be there day one and then day 8 again for a matin?e.

Wow. Why haven’t I seen Commercial One for this one?

Bumpity-bump for all those tied-up with FB yesterday.

Bump

Saw it yesterday, it didn’t dissapoint. A little bit of spoiling below so take heed.

Go see this movie, you’ll have a good time.

It’s fast paced, adrenaline soaked, and full of big-time actors who played big-time roles.

Top reasons to see it in my opinion are:

 1. Probably the bloodiest most intense action I’ve ever seen.

 2. Suprisingly good performances by Alicia Keys as well as Common.

 3. Affleck gets whacked.

 4. Jason Bateman was hilarious as a degenerate.

 5. Piven was simply over the top.

 6. Ray Liotta is in it.

 7. Suprise Cameo by Matthew Fox.

 8. Naked Hookers

 9. The story lines are really put together well, to include the narratives at the beginning. (Same back story being told by three different people)

 10. The twist at the end is a mind fuck. You think you have it figured out about a third of the way through and that you’ll just get to enjoy the ride, but the ending really pays off with some twisted shit.

 11. Oh, and Ritalin kid. No reason for him to be in there to move help the story along, but Ritalin kid had me laughing hard.

Enjoy!

I may have to see it.

Semi-Spoilerish so DONT READ if you don’t want it spoiled!

It was a letdown for me. I knew it was going to be mindless fun but there was only 30 minutes or so of actual interesting movie in there.

Bateman’s small part was great. All of the action inside the hotel was great. Everything else was average at best. After another viewing I may change my opinion slightly but not by much.

The “twist” was OK. I could have done without the first part of it.
Being his dad.
The actors were great and played their parts very well though. The directing was good also. The story was just lacking, which I did expect and the ending we meh’tacular.

BTW!!! Alicia Key’s legs are PHENOMENAL!

I havent seen it yet, but plan to because it looks like fun. Thanks for the heads up.

But just as a reference, for the mother of all twisted shit, f’d up crazy endings, watch the movie, Oldboy.

I was dissapointed by this movie. I believe they tried way too hard to be funny at times in the movie and like someone else said, only 30 minutes of the movie was decent. I did not like the story. It just didn’t blend well at all. They could’ve made it much more original with the amount of interesting characters they had but they blew it.

Spoiler:
Glad that Benny Aflecky got ktfo and that the chick with the sniper rifle went all out on those guys.

looked good, have to see it!

This movie was even better than I expected (expectations kill). Very Guy Ritchie.

Ryan Renolds was great and Jason Bateman is just a stud. Excellent flick overall.

I thought the movie was very entertaining and I was leaning forward in my seat for at least half of it. All of the acting was great, but the standout studs had to be Jeremy Piven and Jason Bateman. I laughed hard at Bateman’s part in the hotel, it’s good to see him in something other than Arrested Development.

Back to the movie, the action scenes were fast and exciting and the Tremors were fun as hell to watch. I called the second part of the twist but never saw the first part coming. I absolutely loved the line that Piven says: You’re looking at me like I asked you the for the square root of something. Classic.

It actually exceeded your expectations?!? I may have set mine way to high. Thats what I get though from going nuts from a trailer. DAMN TRAILERS!

The cast was great and they all gave solid performances and the action was top notch.

Whats all the hating on Affleck all about (not saying you are Barr)? He’s one of the guys in Hollywood who doesn’t take himself seriously. He’s not an egotistical prick like most of Hollywood. He’s a very good actor and quite funny.

Why the hatin’?

Definitely very Guy Ritchie.

A stud, huh? Even with the bra and panties?
