Gday all…popped back here to update where im at…been an up and down month or so…extra pressures of getting back to work, completely changing my training around, reducing it hugely…just trying to keep things as simple as possible…eat, sleep, work, train…trying (fairly sucessfully) to keep gaining weight and maintain it consistently…
BW is now 47.6kg…am hanging in there and slowly gaining…Im up 3kg from July 13th when i started ifting at PTC, having adequate rests between sets, sleeping more and eating better…not so much reliance on WPC to supplement, more food…
My bench that i had hoped would hit 40kg 2 weeks ago is a bit unpredictable, went thru a period where my butt was coming off the bench for every rep…Big Bench comp is this saturday, last session i paused the 30 easy, then the 35, but failed on the 40…i can do 3 sets of 8 @ 30kg with every rep paused…there are no other lifters in the 48kg class and there are no records, so whatever i do on Saturday will be a record. Im going to do 30, 35, 37.5 and if i get thru that go for the 40kg…should be a great day…am excited…hope my bum stays down…lol…and my arms go up!
Deadlift remains at 105kg, holding that upper back tight for 75kg, 3 triples, up to 80kg next week, we shall see if i can stop it from rolling…
My squat has come along nicely…the goal at the end of the program was 60kg and i hit 62.5kg last wednesday…vid is below…im up first but there is some of the people i train with doing some big and funny stuff…PTC is an awesome place to train, the atmosphere is amazing…last week the boys were dong UDLs with the 64kg KB…40 reps, 50 reps, 60 reps…amazing…I love it… and love the changes to my body it is creating…getting me some hips…finally!
