I don’t know if anyone remembers. But i posted about 2 weeks ago, on how i could gain that solid muscle to my frame which was 180lbs the date i posted. Well i re-weighed myself just now and im 187lbs, which means i’ve gained 7lbs in two weeks. Now that is really good for me.
But the thing is, i haven’t done much cardio during those two weeks, now i know that has something to do with the gains. But i fear that when i start playing again, i’ll be back to my starting weight.
Is there anyway, by exercise or food etc, that i can slow down my metabolism, to ensure i won’t lose any of the weight i have gained.

No that’s the wrong idea. What I would suggest you do is add calories to your intake. It has to be enough to off set your new activity level.
More muscles… increased metabolism. No way around it. What you need to do, like the last poster said, is eat more, and also make sure not to stop lifting, or you might burn those muscles away. Just to reiterate, eat more.
I assume that you already know that you will have to eat more to maintain the muscle you have gained. I am also assuming that you are asking how to slow down your metabolism because you simply cannot eat as much as your body demands.
Either because you have a hard time stomaching it, or you just get plain sick and tired of eating all the freakin time.
The posts above are correct. You will have to increase how many calories you take in.
If my assumptions were correct, and you do have a problem with eating that much, then make up the extra calories you need with a good weight gain powder or something. Liquid is easy to chug down. Hell, mix it in the blender with peanut butter, table cream, and a banana.
