I like it too. My last name is a Scots/Irish prefix and The Kraken combined, so it sorta mixes well with our families seafaring history and whatnot.

This is the only thing I did even remotely right today. Everything else was absolute crap.

Kiddo loves this thing though. Its a 2.5 lb. head, and he just adores it. Funny kid. :smiley:

Recently my son has become more interested in weights. It started in school with gym class, and he wants to continue here at home. :+1:.

I’ve never been one to push. Participation is voluntary. So it’s nice that he’s now driven by his own desire for strength. And I’ve been slacking, so its even more beneficial to me.

So tonight we/he did-

Him- Wall sits with 10 lb. For time. 30 sec. 45 sec. & 60 sec.
While I did goblet squats with 20 lb. dumbell for sets of 5.

Delt raises- 3 sets of 10- him using above pictured hammer, me using 10 lb. db.
Supersetted with one arm ohp- me 20 lb. & him 10, then hammer.

I think for him at this point its most important to just get the reps in, and for me to simply move more.

Yeah, he has always had an interest, even if it was just “cuz dad was doing it, and he’s awesome”.

Now he’s the one saying “come on, lets do it!”.

We grew the pumpkins ourselves too!
