I had to chase Buttons down a couple of weeks ago while camping and did so with ease. It was actually pretty sad - she lost track of me and went running off into the dark in a blind panic in the rain. She’s pretty much entirely deaf now, so I had to get ahead and cut her off to get her attention.
She’s a good, good girl. Here she is, watching with interest as one of my sons tries (and fails) to get his recent rescue to sit for a treat. Buttons knows how, as is evident on her face.
There have been some ups & downs. Summer was brutal with the heat & stuff. Fall has been awesome though. That hike was my first time out for fall mushroom season. Bagged a few lbs. of Sulphur Shelf.
Hey man, I don’t visit as much ( mostly drop in unexpectedly during rare downtime to argue in the Ukraine thread or nitpick bizarre historical tangents) but I justed wanted to say that I’m glad you’re doing all right now.
And! I worked an 11 hr. day on Monday and went about my usual business on Tuesday! That hasn’t happened in ages. Aside from just not being able to do an 11 hr. day, if I even did like 8 or so I’d be wiped out for a couple of days.
In general, really good. I’ve had covid this week, but it’s my third round, so not too bad, mostly just low grade fever. I felt well enough with tylenol onboard to enjoy being a romcom-watching lump.
I’ve been falling off my workouts, but I think a week of TN browsing has probably helped with that. Hopefully!
Edit: Oh, I see you’re having to take a week off. I’m sorry. @twojarslave is in that thread offering to beat @Andrewgen_Receptors up, so you’re not the only one getting a little reactive.
