In other news, I chipped my front tooth on a bowl. It didn’t hurt so I thought the bowl was the victim… boy, was I wrong. Luckily it’s more inside/underside of the tooth so it’s not visible. Just feels really dorky.
Must be age.
LMAO!! hahahahaha
You fit in so well here :D
LOL, what are you doing eating bowls??? More roughage???

Thanks, Jenny. Remind me to sue :0)
I like this side of the fence, the estrogen levels here are tolerable.
Did my leg workout today instead of yesterday. The pollen has me seeing stars and feeling like crap…I need to move to another state. I can’t see myself going through another spring feeling like crap and trying to train through it.
My boss thinks she’s special enough to think she’s the main cause for my pissy moods…ummm, no. Try the flippin’ pollen.
Anywho, training. Gym was nice and empty.
I had to go light because my allergies mess with my proprioception, big time.
The gym today was packed like a mutha…I barely got parking like a mile away. The weight area was pretty empty …works for me.
Rows(cable-my right shoulder was abit sore)-
warm up-2x6(35lbs), 4x6 (50lbs)
Incline DB press: warm-up 1x10(20), 4x6(30lb) I could easily have done 35lbs, I get abit shy when I want to go up in weight. Sucks, I’m my own worst enemy.
Hammer curls: 2x6(15), 4x6(20)
French press: 1x6(30), 3x6(35lbs!! Up from last week.)
Reverse crunches 3x15
Hanging leg raises 1x15, 1x12, 1x10.
Back squats 1x10(bar), 1x10(65), 1x8(85), 4x6(125)…125lbs is a personal best. It may not seem much for you heavy squatters…it’s a breakthrough for me who LOATHES squats.
“Mister, please don’t hassle me while I’m squatting only to get into the power rack to do bent-over rows. I’d understand your urgency if you were about 7ft 2”, but you’re about 5ft 4…Napoleon, is that you?"

Skye - sorry you had a sucky day yesterday! Seemed like you pulled through though! =D
NICE RDL’S! Your lower lifts continue to amaze me! Keep it up! Excited to see what this weekend brings… wolf said he had a lot in store for you! ;D
Thanks, Molly! I saw your last vid…pretty darn good. Now I know what depth I need to be at since I don’t have anyone to spot me.
You’re welcome Skye! But note that depth is just what you need to for the lift to qualify as “good” at a PL-ing meet… you can always go lower if you can ;D
whoa! i just found your journal, you are spectacular!
i have the same dead and chin/pull up goal as you, but i’m a bit bigger size wise. lady you are impressive!!

Ah, I see. The nutbags(trainers) at my gym do not know that. I asked one of them to check my depth and he said I didn’t need to go lower than parallel and when he demo-ed, all he was doing was quarter squats.
I guess that was the end of that conversation.
