Hey guys,
I had an argument with someone the other night, he was saying protein with skim milk was worked better then drinking protein with water.
So whats better? or does it even really matter?

How much you weigh and how tall are you, although milk may slow down protein absorption a bit, the increase in calories will contribute more to muscle if you don’t weight that much.
i weigh 190lbs, and am 6 feet tall
In general your calories and protein amounts are more important than how quickly it is absorbed by your body. An example would be to mix with whole milk if your bulking, 2% or skim for maintaining and water for cutting.
Skim milk = oxidized cholesterol
I avoid it.
Water ftw.
if youre only 190 at 6 ft, i wouldnt suggest protein with either of those. Id say use whole milk.

Welcome to teh internetz.
Accidental double-post so I’ll point out that many of the vitamins in milk such as A and D are fat soluble, so (unless there is fat in your shake) if you drink skim milk most of the vitamins will go in one way and out the other. So yeah, skim milk is just as good as water from the vitamin standpoint.
