Can a 5’6"er join?
Oh, and whoever loves T-Nation say “I”. First body fat calculating shoes, now this…a great website.
Hmmmm…we’ll have to take a vote on this one. Alan? Should we let him in? He’s a bit on the tall side. He could be one of those short guys that weighs 200lbs and makes the rest of us little guys look even smaller.
How about someone who’s 5’6.5" and 235, albeit a little chubby at the moment. My arms and calves suck, so based on those points alone I should be able to join…please.

You make the height cut-off, but you’re a bit bigger than most of us. You’re gonna have to get under 200lbs to be an official member.

I will say it might be a little weird if my wife was taller than I was.
All my girlfriends have been taller than me. It’s not an issue.

All my girlfriends have been heavier than me. Unfortunately none have been taller. That’s one sign I need to gain a lot of mass…

It was a quiet day in Gold’s gym…until OCN2000 walked in! Women gasped for air. Guys stood slack jawed at his awesome dimensions. Yes, this was one 5’5" person you did NOT want to fuck with. He flexed a 15" biceps and ripped the seams of his extra medium t-shirt. This would be one day no one would forget.
Better check that BMI again. It’s actually 30.7. To have a BMI of 21.2 at 5’11", you would need a bodyweight of 152 pounds.

This is T-Nation, so here is my honest summary:
I checked out his pics, and they are not impressive. You have little to no definition whatsoever. So you’re 15 inch arm is probably more like 14 when decide to lose your “bulking suit.” Using your logic, my grandmother has 22 inch arms, shall I post pics?
I dont know what is sadder: 1.) The fact that you have pics from 15 years ago on your profile. 2.) you speak of lifts you did in the “past twenty years” or 3.) in 15 plus years of lifting weights this is what you have to show. Either way, talk about being deluded and living in the past.
For someone who talks so much negative shit to people that are clearly much more advanced physiquewise and not delusionial, I was disappointed, I expected to see a much more impressive physique.
I did not realize there was a time cutoff for picture (from 15 years ago) read my blog “for all the pussies” if you need more of an explanation.

Which one of you has the flattest head?
Don’t know, but my head kinda looks like a mailbox. And a good looking mailbox at that.
I read most of this thread, and there are some things I just do not agree with at all.
First, folks keep going on about how certain weights and certain heights are skinny. Well, I agree to a point. A 165 lb guy at 5’8" is fat if there isn’t much lean muscle. A 165 lb guy at 5’9" is skinny as hell if really lean.
The pic of the original poster makes the guy look at fat. If he is 165 lbs, then, I think, he is a fat 165 lbs. Who cares how big his arms are if they are mostly fat?
Second, why tell a guy that is just not lean to gain more weight? I keep seeing this here. No one seems to care about being fit. I would tell someone that is a lean 165 lbs to gain weight because it makes sense. I wouldn’t tell a fat 165 lbs guy to gain weight.
So what is the objective here? Is it to become big but unable to run a city block without huffing and puffing? Is it to tell out of shape folks that are thin on the pound side to gain weight even though they are mostly fat?

Here is why your arguments suck:
-You bragged about your size, called out professor x and got owned, then said that he wasn’t even that big
-Told people to check your blog, then when one mocked it told him to stop reading it
-you said that I got the short end of the gene pool (this is ironic since I’m 6’3" and you brutally butchered the expression)
-You’ve posted feats you accomplished twenty years ago
-you say you don’t push yourself on the mass end, but you bulk
-you also called yourself a “real man” because you do weighted pull-ups
thank you for your time
-I did not call proffesrox out, I merely asked to see what he looked liekand he sent a pic
Not all of the feats were 20 years ago, even if they were, so what?
-One dud had a problem with the blog, so I told him to stop reading it.
_ I don’t push myself on themass end. If I did, I would work out more than twice a week, I would supplement with creatine and the like etc.
-The pull up line was a joke. Any one could tell that form the context. You were really pulling hard with that one.
Can someone who used to 5’10" but is now a smidge over 5’8" join the smurf club? I also was over 200 pounds at one point but feel a lot better at 185 and relatively lean, <10% bf. I hope that doesn’t disqualify me.
If it does, I will just have to eat 10,000 calories a day to try and get up to 250 to apply to the big guys club. There doesn’t seem to a middle-of-the-road club. Us average people are always discriminated against.

It’s to try and join the exclusive short people club.
Can I join if I walk around on my knees?
Don’t patronize us!
You’re out. We’ll take a sledge hammer to your knees!
So who’s joining the exclusive T-Nation Little-Big Man club?
I’m in.
Alan?

WTF are you doing??? Take out the Little or we’ll have every skinny metro bastard trying to join our club. I’m SHORT NOT LITTLE!!! There is a BIG difference. I’m in if you change the name of the gang.
