Taken away or transferred?
And that meme is so silly and unrealistic that only a woman could have come up with it. The idea that men and women are walking around in fear of one another is just stupid.

I’ll let the women answer this, but damn.
Do you think men and women have equal legal and institutional treatment?
Maybe that’s the assumption haha. This guy must know what he’s doing, he wouldn’t show up like that if it wasn’t the case.
Being in good shape helps. It takes a lot to actually look sloppy if you are in shape. Could be a case of offsetting. I get points for being physically in good shape, and point deducted for clothing choice. Evens out perhaps?
Fair to a degree. I still think I can get away with more and be taken seriously than most women.
No. It’s evolved with each having disadvantages and advantages.
And it sucks. Remember the opening line of Anna Karenina? “Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.”
So yeah, unfairness sucks. But working towards fixing it is important just because it makes you a better person.
I work in a heavy engineering field. Mostly men, but a good amount of women too.
Women are assumed competent until otherwise proven, while men have to prove their competency.
The women i know who are competent - act and dress like it. These are primarily engineers in various disciplines.
What advantages do you think men have that women do not? Legally or institutionally.
Are you sure this isn’t a personal projection of your own?
And maybe true in a blue collar environment. Lots of good buddies work in oil and it’s a very old school environment, at least field level. They seem to test everyone though, until competence is proven.
Could be? Hard to tell.
In general I am good at the social game. By that, I mean I can make friends easily. I am outgoing in general, and that perhaps explains a lot of what I’ve experienced both at work and outside events. A lot of the time it seems everyone knows me if that makes sense.
Fear is a decision of the fearful, not the feared. Men are far more likely to be killed than women. The fact that women are more fearful than men (if it is true) is a reflection of a delusion, not reality. Or, at best, it is a reflection of the fact that women are more rational in being afraid than men are (ie. maybe women are right to be afraid, but in that case men should be even more afraid). In any case, it doesn’t indicate a bias against women.
E se io muoio da partigiano, tu mi devi seppellire
It does. I would again suggest this isn’t a function of gender.
This;
Is the only part I agree with.
I was saying that entitlement leads to bias.
La Casa de Papel.
That sounds like wiggly words that don’t mean anything. What bias are you talking about specifically?
My first association are partisans hunting RSI gerarchi in May '45 but Casa de Papel works as well.
I dunno, I’m day drinking.
If a woman is just sitting there by herself she isn’t going to self fertilize.
50/50.
2 to tango, etc.
Or are you recommending that women have medical procedures without regard for their will or well being in the event of an unintended deadbeat father?
You’re 100% correct.
But it only takes one to abort or bring to term. And that one has *all the authority. So is it still 50/50 responsibility once the men’s authority is gone?
Not at all. I’m recommending that we decentivize single motherhood to bring about more responsible actions.
Her body, her choice.
His wallet, his choice.
Yes. Similar to firing a gun. You’re responsible for the damage.
You don’t get to blame the victim for not moving.
Or you can, but thats kinda insane.
Don’t want to be responsible? Don’t pull the trigger.
